2029 Rankings Update: ATH

With that in mind, we have begun a new wave of rankings updates in the state of Kentucky. To start things up in this round of updates, we have officially released our updated Top 125 players in the class of 2029. With these updates being published, I have been taking some time to break them down by position. He made his biggest impact on offense at receiver where he was able to use his speed out of the slot to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease to create separation. Xavier is also dangerous in the open field, using his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains at any given moment. He led Somerset in receiving as a freshman, catching 27 passes for 418 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Wooldridge also carried the ball 21 times for 209 yards and four touchdowns this past season, and made an impact on defense, recording 32 tackles and returning a fumble recovery for a touchdown. He is a player who they like to get the ball in his hands in open space as he is tough for defenders to bring down easily. Anderson has shown the quick cuts to make defenders miss along with the speed to simply run away from them on big gains. He finished his freshman year as his team's leading receiver with 35 catches for 405 yards and a touchdown in 10 games while also carrying the ball 34 times for 296 yards and four touchdowns. Anderson also played a role on defense this past season, accounting for 15 tackles and coming away with one interception. He had a strong year out of the backfield, carrying the ball 72 times for 437 yards and five touchdowns in nine games. Ridener is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact while keeping his balance to break tackles with ease. He has also proven to be a very reliable target in the passing game, leading his team in receiving as a freshman, catching 20 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns. Ridener also made an impact on defense at linebacker as a freshman, finishing the year with 22 tackles. On defense, he lines up at safety where he is very reliable in coverage. He does a great job of reading route combinations then breaking on the ball with perfect timing to make a play when it is thrown in his direction. Shemwell finished his freshman year with one interception and several pass breakups in 15 games. He also recorded 22 tackles as a freshman and made an impact on offense at receiver, catching 10 passes for 269 yards and four touchdowns. Eli played a key role in the Hart County defense as a freshman at outside linebacker. He was dominant against the run, showing the ability to flow to the ball quickly then explode through contact to secure tackles with a sense of urgency. Boone finished his freshman year with 76 tackles and four tackles for loss in 12 games. He also came away with an interception as a freshman and played a role on offense as a backup quarterback and running back, and running the ball 28 times for 188 yards.
