Anderson quietly put together one of the more impressive receiver performances of the event. His elite athletic profile gave him enough speed, quickness, and coordination to threaten in multiple ways. This in addition to his solid route tree made him comfortable regardless of coverage style.
He showed reliable hands throughout the tournament and routinely transitioned cleanly into a runner after the catch. His quick twitch and speed consitently flashed despite being confined to congested areas. This RAC value paired nicely with his ability to win vertically or underneath.
Anderson’s game stood out even while playing out of his age range which highlights his talent, athleticism and potential,. With all the tools that translate to live action he is definitely a name to circle as the season nears.

Anderson is an incredible athlete who belongs on the field. He’s twitchy and has raw explosiveness. He’s got fantastic hands and can cut on a dime. He’s able to make guys miss in short areas and not lose speed. He forces defenses to be honest because he can and will burn them. He had multiple highlight reel-worthy grabs, including a few TDs. He’s dynamic, young, and seems to be made of the right stuff. How he develops over the next few years will be key, but the talent and potential are obvious.

was one of the most exciting young prospects on the field during championship Sunday, and it did not take long to see why he is ranked as the #4 player in Kentucky’s 2029 class. The dynamic slot receiver plays with elite burst and quickness, consistently uncovering thanks to high-level change-of-direction, fluid movement without losing momentum, and sharp route breaks. He brings real speed that stresses defenses vertically and laterally, and he seemed to find space on nearly every snap. After seeing him in person this weekend, his status as one of the top young talents in the state comes as no surprise.

is another player who made a huge impact as a freshman. On offense, Taylor County loves to get the ball in Anderson’s hands in the open field, whether it is out of the backfield or in the slot at receiver. Anderson is very shifty, showing the ability to make quick cuts to make defenders miss with ease. He also has the breakaway speed to run away from the defense for big gains. Anderson led his team in receiving as a freshman, catching 35 passes for 405 yards and a touchdown in 10 games, and also carried the ball 34 times for 296 yards and four touchdowns. He also returned one kickoff for a touchdown this past season, and recorded 15 tackles and an interception on defense. Jaelyn recently picked up his first offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way over the next few years.

is a player who stood out to me when evaluating eighth grade year film. Anderson does most of his damage on offense at receiver where he uses his speed to create separation in the deep passing game. He has also shown the ability to make contested catches with ease, showing the strong hands and concentration to bring in catches through contact. Anderson has also proven to be a very dangerous returner on special teams as he is able to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to breakaway for a big return at any given moment. Jaelyn will be a player to continue to keep an eye on as he continues to develop over the next four years.

Without hesitation, the first thing that comes to mind is that he’s one of the most dynamic and explosive prospects in all of Kentucky. He checks every box you could need athletically at this point. He comes with very good speed, obvious strength, an impressive vertical and next-level ball skills on top of that. Anderson spent 2024 as the main offensive weapon for the Cardinals and lined up as both a Wide Receiver and Running Back. He additionally played Defensive Back and was a difference-maker on Special Teams, as well.
