Aiden Zuniga Aiden Zuniga 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB/WR Taylor County | 2029 State KY had a solid freshman year at corner for Taylor County. He proved to be very dependable in coverage, showing the ability to read receivers’ routes then react quickly to put himself in position to make a play. When the ball is thrown his way, he does a great job of fighting through the receiver to defend the pass. He finished this past season with one interception and multiple pass breakups in 10 games. Zuniga also accounted for 53 tackles and one tackle for loss as a freshman, and made an impact on offense, catching four passes for 32 yards. Aiden will be a player worth paying close attention to as he continues to grow and develop moving forward.

He’s a bigger, tougher kid for the position and knows nothing but hard work. He checks a ton of boxes for me as a Safety and I feel like he could be the starter at Free Safety for the boys from Bluegrass state.

My knee-jerk reaction of Zuniga is that I absolutely love the way he attacks the game of football. A two-way standout–at Defensive Back and Wide Receiver–if you throw on the film after the snap, it’s difficult to say what position he’s playing because of his agression. He’s a physical, hands-on kid who takes as much pride in his blocking as a Wide Receiver, as he does in his tackling in the secondary. When doing my research, it came as little surprise, to find out he was Kentucky State Champion in wrestling. The kid is tough as nails and doesn’t hesitate to show it.
