Big Bodies: Kentucky’s 2027 Offensive Linemen

He has strong hands, plays with a good base, and does a nice job keeping his feet underneath him throughout the rep. He's also a good enough athlete to get out on the move when asked and doesn't look out of place working in space. His reach shows up on tape and helps him keep defenders from getting into his body. He does a nice job in pass protection, stays under control, and handles blitzers well when pressure is coming from different angles. He doesn't look rushed and trusts his technique to keep the pocket clean. He's a powerful interior lineman who can maul in the running game and blow guys off the ball. He finishes blocks and likes to bury his guy. He's comfortable in the passing game and can handle bull rushes with ease. He's a multi-year starter who looks comfortable snap after snap. He's fairly nimble, moves well in space, and can get out in front as a lead blocker when asked. In the run game, he has the strength to bury defenders and create movement at the point of attack. He also holds up well in pass protection and doesn't look overwhelmed when matched up against quicker players. He's moved around the offensive line for MNH and has filled whatever role they've needed, whether that's inside or outside. He has good power in the run game and does a nice job with his hand placement once the ball is snapped. He seems like a smart player who knows how to adjust and stay 1 step ahead.
