Team camps are lowkey some of the most memorable, best learning experiences, and highlights of a prep football season. Yes, season, not just preseason, and Bemidji State's small school and Big School team camps are so much fun that is has me reminiscing of my glory backs back when Minneapolis Southwest went to Brookings for our first-ever summer team camp.

PRZ took our talents up to beautiful Bemidji for the 2026 small school camp, and after a day of watching 7v7, linemen challenges, and team scrimmages and mixers, we were honored to bring the exclusive coverage of the high-energy conclusion to the camp: The War on the Shore. Four plays to score. Score, stop them, or go home. Here's your exclusive All-Camp Team, with all 15 teams represented between offense and defense. Dig in!

A well-known quarterback in the MN 2028 class, Belle Plaine's Reed Creighton regularly makes the drive to the Twin Cities to work with 612Qs, where PRZMN is used to seeing him in unpadded settings. With so many evaluation points under our belt with Creighton, it was an awesome switch up to Creighton in full team settings, with his teammates, and live (meaning he could be hit just like anyone else).

The Belle Plaine signal-caller was the cream of the crop of the quarterbacks in attendance at the Bemidji State small school War on the Shore Team Camp, and the Tigers' passing attack was both the most dynamic as well as the most successful of the 15 teams in attendance from Minnesota and South Dakota. Creighton was throwing some eye-catching strikes, especially during War on the Shore competition, popping off some multi-layered throws and highlighting his body of work with an unreal TD throw to his TE, snapping the ball over the heads of the defenders and into the corner end zone off his back foot. Oh yeah, and this was after the snap went over his head and he was in a mad dash of a scramble to set up the TD beforehand. Creighton was also displaying accuracy, a quick release, good timing, and some noticeable mustard and zip on his underneath throws. Creighton also has reps of him seeing the field well while getting through his progressions, then delivering a strike around the MOF. He threw out a pump fake that made a rusher jump and miss, showing off some scrambling ability outside the pocket and behind the LOS, and was a game-changer and asset from the QB position like no other team had on roster. Should be a huge season for Creighton & co. in 2026.

The Pelican Rapids Vikings had an overall strong showing at the 2026 Bemidji State War on the Shore small school team camp. With a roster returning some size, playmaking ability, and varsity experience going into the fall, the Vikings are led at the front by a behemoth of a prep QB in [player_tooltip player_id='1629932' first='Grady' last='Larson'], a massive 6'2, 220 lber. with tree trunks for legs and some frightening dual-threat ability from the QB position.

Larson, rocking #11 for the Vikings, had a really strong showing during War on the Shore competition and proved himself to be a game-changer from the QB position who highlighted his play by trucking the living daylights out of a Park Rapids safety or linebacker right on the goal line for a physically-impressively, put-you-on-your-butt TD carry and finish. Larson proved he can get through his reads well, and we have some good reps on film of him seeing the field well and working through his progression to make the right choice and throw. He threw a great ball on the move, throws an overall tight spiral with a compact throwing motion and delivery, and he can stretch the field with the flick of his wrist. He tried to fit the ball into some tight windows during War on the Shore, sometimes rightly, sometimes wrongly but can put tougher throws on a rope and flashed a smooth off-platform delivery as well.

Larson had a particularly great throw against Breckenridge that involved him throwing a bit back across his body for a laser of a strike in the back of the endzone and between two Cowboy DBs, although it was unfortunately called out of bounds by his WRs feet.

One of my favorite new finds from the 2026 Bemidji State War on the Shore small school team camp came out of the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley co-op and the Wolves' QB1 [player_tooltip player_id='2250153' first='Matthew' last='Koch']. The rising senior owns a good frame that is a legit 6'2, and somewhere between 180-190 pounds, and he got better as the day went on and really elevated the Wolves' play during the illustrious War on the Shore competition.

A somewhat inconsistent passer who flashes big-time tools and calmness under pressure with the ball in-hand, Koch showed us he could get through his reads, zip the pigskin into small windows at the prep level, and stretch the field thanks to his big arm. Koch, who also runs the Wolves' option rushing attack, showed off some dirty fakes in the option offense, as well as keeps, where he could then break tackles and show off his impressive contact balance as a ball carrier. Koch also showed off some impressive touch on his passes downfield, made a good TD throw on a fade ball against Royalton, and was a big-time playmaker during War on the Shore that kept his program in the fight until the bitter end. Not sure if this kid has socials but I hope some MIAC schools take a look at this kid when filling their 2027 rosters.

Osakis had one of the biggest and baddest rosters of the entire 2026 Bemidji State small school War on the Shore team camp. The Silverstreaks put the beef and talent to good use, putting together one of the strongest showings at the BSU small school team camp, and the Class AA state championship contender was led on the offensive side of their ball by their stud RB [player_tooltip player_id='1654570' first='Isaac' last='Chisholm']. Chisholm more than forced PRZMN's in terms of him getting him onto he Ranking's Big Board, walking out of Bemidji as one of the camps' best playmakers and best verified athletes. The hosting Beavers worked out the 2028 playmaker, along with a handful of other standout names from the camp, and Chisholm popped off fantastic athletic numbers on the grass of the practice fields, namely a 4.78 40, 4.69 shuttle, 9'8 broad! That's one way to get on a scholarship program's radar!

The stud RB owns a lean, wiry, powerful build, and he knew how to use it, taking advantage of the giant holes his OL was producing and putting together maybe the best individual body of work of any tailback in attendance at BSU, especially War on the Shore. Chisholm's highlighted plays include:

easy TD against International Falls on a toss sweep that saw him stroll into the endzone untouched and unbothered

easy TD against WEM on a stretch outside the tackle

Chisholm was a patient RB who sees the cutback and lets the blocking and hole develop, and once he sticks, plants, and works upfield, his acceleration and burst were deadly against defenses from all over Minnesota. Contact balance and elusiveness were also impressive assets in the open field. Someone has earned themselves quite a ranking's bump thanks to his performance at the Bemidji State War on the Shore small school team camp. Also has PRed with a 11.27 100M dash this outdoor track & field season.

If you read our Bemidji State All-Camp Defensive Team feature from yesterday, you already are aware that Sioux Valley, located in Volga, South Dakota, right outside Brookings, showed up and showed out at the BSU small school team camp. With a good mix of size and toughness in the trenches and playmakers in their skills spots, the Corsairs manufactured one of the best showings during War on the Shore while executing some electric offensive and defensive stands and conversions.

Leading from the front of the pack is RB/LB [player_tooltip player_id='1319706' first='Logan' last='Mohn'], a 6'1, 200 lb. bruiser and college-ready linebacker prospect who did some of his best work with ball in-hand as a tailback last week in Bemidji. A powerfully-built slasher who could finish runs with physicality but also break tackles with a combination of footwork + contact balance. He showed off good vision after he opened the small school War on the Shore competition with a TD run against Pine River-Backus where he bounced it to the sideline and accelerated into the endzone for an easy six. Laterally agile and explosive, Mohn also had a crazy TD run and rep against Belle Plaine where he ran into a stuffed gap between the tackles, kept those legs pumping through a couple weaker tackle attempts, then stuck his cleat in the ground and bounced it outside the dogpile for a sneaky leak out of a TD carry. One of the - if not thee single best - individual efforts of the vaunted War on the Shore competition. Looks like Dordt is Mohn's lone offer right now!

A dynamic weapon and utility piece for the Rangers who was more than comfortable with the ball in-hand, Kannel was a natural playmaker who did a great job of stretching the field and setting up DBs to where he could continually bounce the ball outside, flip and swivel those hips to create tough angles, and use the sideline as a friend, even in goal line and shorter-yardage situations. He was a consistent playmaker and constant threat to take the edge and the sideline of a defense during competition, and he was explosive and showed off his big play speed and ball skills throughout the camp's various mixers, 7v7, and full team competition.
PRZMN made sure to get the most out of our first in-person evaluation of the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley co-op up at Bemidji State's small school War on the Shore team camp. The Wolves had a tough and talented group on their 2026 roster with a major sprinkle of playmaking ability added in for good measure. One of these top-end playmakers was rocking' #53, and the young 2028er had a big showing in Bemidji for their small school War on the Shore team camp. The rising upperclassmen kicked off one of the mixers that PRZMN was at by going absolutely beast mode from his RB spot. On a simple outside zone or similar common run concept, Richter stepped through, ran over, and carried what seemed like three quarters of the entire defense for a Beast Mode-esque carry that really set the stage of physical toughness, balance, and playmaking ability.

Shifty hips and created tough angles for would-be tacklers, plus we enjoyed the vision, twitch, stiff arm, and ability to finish runs with physical emphasis. Richter trucked a talented Park Rapids DB in a later rep we saw that left a last impression.

Picture the scene, PRZMN strolling down the sideline in-between scrimmages, admiring and getting a feel for the Wadena-Deer Creek roster as I scurried by them during a scrimmage with Royalton. What catches my eye but of course but a cowboy collar on a prospect wearing #42. A fun first introduction, especially given his size was stellar, and I compartmentalize the quick eye test of #42 and go on with my business. Only a few moments later, my attention is drawn onto the field for the scrimmage, and as I look up to process the big run I've seen the Wolverines break I see what I can only describe as one of the hardest and most violent collisions and truck sticks I've seen in not just my time scouting football, but watching it. A 6'1, 205 2030 (!), yes, rising freshman 2030 wingback and LB, [player_tooltip player_id='2250199' first='Brayden' last='Kern'] is coming an incredibly decorated youth football career that saw him finish his 8th grade season with 51 TDs to 1 INT and playing for Team USA 18U as a 13 y/o. Also a good hooper, wrestler, and boxer, [player_tooltip player_id='2250199' first='Brayden' last='Kern'] is an incredibly interesting prep prospect just now rising into the high school ranks, and his big time physicality, ability to quickly step and create broken tackles and tough angles for LBs and DBs, and play with instincts and physicality on the defensive side of the ball spell out good things for Kern's prep career and recruitability. Kern also proved himself to be a threat out of the backfield as a pass catcher and produced a big-time TFL against Paynesville. Quick read and physicality + closing speed. What an introduction to the prep football scene by this young Wadena-Deer Creek 2030 standout.

Breckenridge High School, the MN 2025 Class A state runner-up, as well as the 2026 Bemidji State War on the Shore small school team champion, has been well covered and documented in our write ups and All-Camp team features from the event. Stacked to the brim with under-the-radar talent at all positions on the gridiron, the Cowboys were led at the top end (in terms of recruiting ceiling), by their 2028 STUD WR/OLB/DB [player_tooltip player_id='2250178' first='Hunter' last='Bogenreif']. PRZMN was introduced to Bogenreif in spectacular fashion, as the 6'4+185 lber. absolutely MOSSED an Osakis DB, floating perfectly up in the air for a beautifully-timed 50/50 ball right on top of the head of a helpless Silverstreaks defensive back. It was one of the most physically impressive individual efforts we saw tin Bemidji, and Bogenreif kept up the playmaking work during the vaunted War on the Shore competition to conclude the camp. Bogenreif, along with his great frame, also looked so impressive as a route runner that he earned an individual workout and evaluation from the Beavers staff between sessions, and made sure to show up when the spotlight was the brightest, as he sniffed out and ran down a loose Sioux Valley tailback from the backside of the LOS for an impressive TFL from his OLB spot that really fired up his defense and sideline. Made sure to let the RB know who had just tackled him as well. I like the intensity. This dude has big-time recruiting potential.

Of all the 15 teams from Minnesota and South Dakota that descended on Bemidji for the 2026 War on the Shore small school team camp, Pelican Rapids' [player_tooltip player_id='2154299' first='Ethan' last='Isaman'] was the top receiver we saw, especially when the lights were the brightest. Isaman was tearing up defensive secondaries seemingly at-will during the War on the Shore, walking away as the easy choice for the best wideout of the competition, and he was really challenging DBs and especially threatening their ankles in man coverage. With a verified PR of an 11.6 100M backing him, the Vikings' #47 was a great route runner who scored 3 TDs during War on the Shore thanks to his especially dirty redzone zone and short yardage route running ability. Isaman easily finds pockets and seams in zone coverage, put a Crosby-Ironton CB in a blender for a TD during War on the Shore, and his jittery footwork put some DBs on skates in the open field after the catch. Isaman's play was highlighted by a great route, getting very open, then ending it reception with a toe-tapping finish of a TD catch against Breckenridge that had the Cowboys' DB's heads in a blender and came in hot from his QB's hand. Talk about a sleeper of a 2027 WR; this dude needs a ranking's bump.

The biggest, as well as best, TE at the 2026 Bemidji State War on the Shore small school team camp, #42 for Belle Plaine was a healthy 6'4, 200ish with plus-length and the ability to apply it in competitive settings and situations. In addition to his First Team All-Eye Test designation and selection, Wadsley had some serious juice as a pass catcher, as well as route runner, where he could separate on a variety of different routes, including an impressive deep comeback we saw during a mixer. As you'd hope for with the size, Wadsley was also a big-time 50/50, contested catch threat that really came to life during the War on the Shore competition. Wadsley produced an excellent back-shoulder snag on an endzone fade, reeling the rock in while fully extended and while tapping those feet towards the back endzone line in a successful effort to stay inbounds. Body control, catch radius, and ball skills all on display well during competition.

Sioux Valley, the lone South Dakota representative at the Bemidji State small school War on the Shore team camp, was the darlings of the camp. An easy team to root for thanks to their toughness and group of dynamic playmakers, the Bemidji State Beavers' football players working the event were especially fond of #11 for Sioux Valley: [player_tooltip player_id='2250147' first='Kellon' last='Tucker']. The 5'9, 155 lb. two-way playmaker was a stud on both sides of the ball, with ice in his veins and zero shyness when it came to producing a big play for either his offense or defense in team settings. The utility playmaker had a great TD catch during War on the Shore and also saved a TD on the other side of the ball, making a great break on an out route near the end zone's goal line for a well-timed PBU that really got his defense fired up. Talk about a sleeper of a DB in the South Dakota 2027 class!

The Beavers staff liked Koep's play, especially during the War on the Shore, where his 8'8 broad jump showed off in his fantastic get-off and initial punch/strike off the. Koep was obliterating Park Rapids in goal situation and his 1v1 assignments thanks to the obvious pad level and strength that led to a lot of movement from their OL and especially Koep's OT spot.
