Of all the 15 teams from Minnesota and South Dakota that descended on Bemidji for the 2026 War on the Shore small school team camp, Pelican Rapids‘ Ethan Isaman Ethan Isaman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR/DB Pelican Rapids | 2027 State MN was the top receiver we saw, especially when the lights were the brightest. Isaman was tearing up defensive secondaries seemingly at-will during the War on the Shore, walking away as the easy choice for the best wideout of the competition, and he was really challenging DBs and especially threatening their ankles in man coverage. With a verified PR of an 11.6 100M backing him, the Vikings‘ #47 was a great route runner who scored 3 TDs during War on the Shore thanks to his especially dirty redzone zone and short yardage route running ability. Isaman easily finds pockets and seams in zone coverage, put a Crosby-Ironton CB in a blender for a TD during War on the Shore, and his jittery footwork put some DBs on skates in the open field after the catch. Isaman’s play was highlighted by a great route, getting very open, then ending it reception with a toe-tapping finish of a TD catch against Breckenridge that had the Cowboys‘ DB’s heads in a blender and came in hot from his QB’s hand. Talk about a sleeper of a 2027 WR; this dude needs a ranking’s bump.
