Last but not least at all, we release our 2027 DL Front Line Dominator from the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp last Tuesday at the beautiful Sonnertag Center. This was a fun group to watch by far as we have prospects that have a ton of D3 offers and attention from Wisconsin schools and one prospect that followed up his UWEC dominant performance with a Wisconsin Badgers PWO.

One of the most sizable defensive linemen we saw in attendance was Brookfield East's [player_tooltip player_id='1570838' first='Brody' last='Tittl'] at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. You would have to be crazy to miss this kid on the eye test as the 6'3 349 pounder showed off more than just a big body. His large hands caused some troubles for the DLs he went up against as Brody intrigued me with how quick he could engage his hands with his size. What got it done persistent for Brody was his well-versed pad level hammering right in in the sweet spot to drive leverage into the backfield. College coaches also noticed, as Augsburg and the camp hosts, UWEC both gave him an offer after camp.

Andrew was one of the more relentless defensie linemen I caught in the DL group at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp out of Franklin. The just about 6'1 290 pounder, showed off great effectiveness with his hands in the live reps I watched in Eau Claire as his plethora of moves were intriguing for his size and frame. Another skillset that Andrew won a handful of reps with was his time as release of his hands launched well from a pursuit angle perspective. The next-level interest he's gotten is certainly there, but he's one that surprises me doesn't at least have a WIAC offer or a couple as of yet.

The lone Minnestoan I had in my 2027 defensive line notebook at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp came from Mounds View's Tyler Nelson. Tyler had the well-rounded mix of the speed you want to see off the edge with his get off and from the reps I watched, had solid working hands for his size and frame to win a handful of reps in pass-rush 1v1s. He's showed too that since the fall season, he's gotten more versatile by not just relying on his speed to get downhill into the backfield. Some nice growth to watch for in the 6A defensive trenches in Minnesota this fall for sure.

A new name that caught a couple of our PRZ scouts attention off the early eye test of the 2027 DL group was Lakeside Lutheran's William Gibson. His 6'4 plus wingspan was a significant advantage in his 1v1 reps on Tuesday at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. He showed off very agile hands and a plethora of pass-rush moves that I got to watch as he was one of the more versatile defensive linemen in the 2027 class in Eau Claire in that regard. I also felt that agility has amped up since the fall season ended, which is a great sign heading into his senior season.

If I recall correctly. my first look at Zach was at the same UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp last year and the development he's put in since then shows. He's gotten more progressive with his get off hands as to me, there wa a higher accelerator out of Zach than what I saw from last summer's camp. The 6'2 250 pounder has a very long 6'6 wingspan to work with as in a few of the 1v1 reps I watched out of Zach you could vividly see the length that is there for the taking with his pass rush moves. He's got a couple WIAC offers including his newest one from the Blugolds, but still to me seems to be more under the radar than he should be when you mix the live eval and the tape together.

A coming out of nowhere performance was put together by Godwin Abili of Menomonee Falls at the UWEC MEGA Camp, that is for certain. This kid won a ton of 1v1 reps that I watched as his persistent was evident. His high consistent motor, fiery hands and twitchy get offs also went to work and meshed really well together for Godwin on Tuesday in Eau Claire. Just one offer thus far for Godwin is a little baffling to me, as when you think of the term dominator, he was a defintiion of one in Blugold Country.

There is a reason why DeAngelo Clay of Monona Grove is the highest ranked defensive linemen out of this group as the 1v1 reps we watched at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp were something else. The most relentless DL prospect I watched in Eau Claire by far, DeAngelo showed off the eye-catching agility on every rep to feel like he was breaking the offensive linemen in half with how dominant he was. He's had a monster month too on the recruiting trail as the hometown Wisconsin Badogers offered him a PWO and he's picked up another five offers thus far and I wouldn't think that would end anytime soon.
