Prep Redzone WI 2027 Class Rankings Update

Here we are! The Class of 2027 Rankings have been updated and are LIVE! Just in time for Week 1 of the WIAA regular season. The slate is clean and anything can happen. It is time for all the work to come to fruition. Here at Prep Redzone WI we are celebrating with Senior Week and the release of the updated 2027 Rankings. It was a massive undertaking as the list of ranked athletes grew to 600 total. Not to mention over 200 athletes are in our Watch List. There is a lot to take in with these rankings. Let's take a look at the raw numbers before you all dive into the entire list.
- 600 ranked athletes
- 29 FBS commits currently
- 16 FCS commits currently
- 35% of the Top 100 is uncommitted
- 150 new additions to the Rankings
- Only 8 new additions within the Top 100
It is amazing to look through this Class that we have long labeled the best Class we have ever covered because the numbers are supporting it. 45 D1 commits with multiple other who could potentially join them still is amazing for our state. The group is headlined by the wave of new commits for Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers featuring 8 of the Top 9 players in the state and 10 total in the Top 20. There are plenty of D2 commits as well and even a few who have locked in the D3 program they will be playing for. Despite all the moves there is still an immense amount of senior talent to watch, and you know Prep Redzone WI will be out there taking it all in.
This week's articles are all going to revolve around this Class. Rankings risers, new additions, best uncommitted athletes, and more will be talked about as we make our way towards Week 1 games. I know this Class is itching to get out on the field, under the lights, and have everything start to count. It is going to be a fun year as we work towards State. Seniors, make sure to take it all in. It is going to go so fast. This experience doesn't last forever, but the memories you make will. So make sure to have fun while doing your job and leading your team.
With all that said, it is time to release you all into the largest rankings we have ever done at Prep Redzone WI for a single Class. Great time to set that new mark with the deepest Class I have ever seen about to take the field for their senior year.
