2027 Rankings Update: Top Ranked New Additions

That helped push us to 600 total ranked athletes. Many of those new additions are currently entering their senior season uncommitted. Those athletes are our focus today. Not just the best new additions, but the best new additions who also still have their recruitment wide open. This is a group of athletes that are going to have huge senior seasons and hopefully make a lasting impression on college coaches and recruiters. Coaches, make sure to get eyes on these kids this fall to get an updated look on them. Let's dive in!    That position and overall ranking does a great job of demonstrating just how deep this Class is at the OL position. Kaden debuts inside the Top 50 of this loaded class and enters his senior season with Darlington following a State Championship in 2025 and also owning the longest win streak in the state with 14 wins.   Looking back at the 2025 tape I am fired up for what Kaden could be this fall. He is a long 6'5" 250 lbs prospect who is very athletic for the position and his size. Kaden can pull across the formation or lead through a gap, or he can get up to level two with speed and violence when he gets hands on. His ability to not just be quick, but also turn that speed to power when he lands that first punch is a game changer when it comes to his ability to move people. The man mover is one of the top uncommitted OL in the state and needs to be on the radar of essentially every staff here in the Midwest.      Gavin is an OL with an elite frame at 6'7" 250 lbs and it is a very easily carried 250 lbs, telling me that he will easily have room to get up to that 280+ range at the next level. Gavin's mobility and flexibility for the LT position is very good. He is so quick out of his stance, understands leverage and positioning to wall off his man and always seems to win the race to that spot. It jumps off the tape how Gavin never lets his legs quit while run blocking and it leads to a lot of positive surge in the trenches. His size and range are the cornerstones of his strengths and if his strength continues to grow then we will probably see him in the rankings riser article at the end of the season. Keep a close eye on the OL.      The Marathon WR is one of the best in the state at his position. Garrett has a long frame and an equally impressive catch radius. He brings a great blend of speed and smooth athleticism that allows him to create a lot of separation with his route running. Garrett is able to make the difficult and concentration catches in traffic. It is so impressive watching him run routes. He doesn't tip off his breaks and he has the savviness to set up DBs and have them losing him in their blind spots. The kid is a legitimate mismatch and one of the top skill players in the Class of 2027. He is also uncommitted, so don't miss out coaches!      Richard is a playmaker to summarize it down to one word. He is always on the field, making an impact on offense, defense, and special teams. His 5'10" 180 lbs frame is very explosive, agile, and shifty, making him very tough to contain when he has the football in his hands or when he is running route on offense. Richard has fantastic ball skills and the ability to make the last second adjust, twist, or dive to corral the football and make the catch. It is impressive to watch Richard find ways to come down with the football despite not being the biggest WR. The playmaker is still looking for his next home. Coaches, tap into the highlights below.      When Mason hit my radar this offseason it was quickly apparent that he was going to be among the best at his position. Now that the update is live we can see that the Slinger edge defender sits inside the Top 10 of his position. That might be just the start. He checks so many boxes. The length is there at 6'4" and his 190 lbs is just scratching the surface of what he could grow into. Right away watching his tape you fall in love with the motor. If the whistle hasn't blown then Mason is on the hunt. He does a great job of taking on blocks to set a stout edge. It is great to see his high IQ on the field, quickly diagnosing plays and understanding where the ball is going based off the flow of the OL in the run game. Mason has the quick get off and speed to be able to rush around the edge and can do it effectively even while lining up at off ball OLB. There are a lot of raw tools that you can't teach here with Mason. Coaches, come get a steal.      Vander brings a massive advantage in the size category with his 6'5" 200 lbs frame. He towers over DBs, and uses that frame to muscle DBs out of position so he can go up and high point the ball. The big fella is smooth too. It shows up in his summer camp clips how effortless it looks for him to get vertical up the field and then high point the ball. D.C. Everest has the running game to pair with Vander out wide to create their typically balanced offense this season. The 2027 WR is also a talented basketball player. He has the talent to be recruited in either sport.     Kaeson hit my radar during this summer while he was putting on a show at camps. It was very clear he was one of the top RBs in the Class of 2027, and now with the update live we see he is pushing for a Top 5 spot at the position. Kaeson brings a lot to the position. He has a good frame that is well built and strong. It pairs with contact balance so that he can move the pile and break tackles. He is an RB who can hit the edge and show off his home run speed and the next play he can create something out of nothing with some hard running or a violent stiff arm. His vision jumps off the tape as well, finding blocks and lanes to exploit. The RB is back healthy this season and should put together a great year. Get your eyes on this guy. Especially if you didn't this summer.      Lomira always seems to have a defensive standout to know. The 2027 to watch this season is the 6'3" 220 lbs edge, [player_tooltip player_id='2113684' first='Blake' last='Steger']. Looking back to his 2025 tape, we see that Blake is a kid with a powerful first step and the acceleration to be able to win with speed around the edge. That speed also flashes over and over as he chases down plays from behind. The 2027 edge can also take on blocks. We see him shedding blocks on the edge vs the run and making stops right at the line. Blake is also very agile and explosive. It comes together to create a very difficult edge to keep an OL in front of. Check him out!      Braylon is an 8 man athlete who is coming off a wildly productive season in 2025 where he put up 2K+ yards. Look for him to try to eclipse that number gain this fall. Braylon is a freight train of an RB. He checks in at a powerful 6' 220 lbs. Pair that with contact balance and his angry running mentality and you get a kid that you can't bring down without gang tackling. Braylon has a powerful lower body that has helped him create highlight reel worthy play after highlight reel worthy play. The big man also has legitimate speed for the next level. I'm very excited to see who is able to land this steal of an athlete.      Isaac was a huge winner of the summer, putting himself on a ton of radars while putting up great testing numbers. Aoki played DB in 2025, but I believe we saw him on both sides of the ball this summer. Either way, the athletic tools always stand out from the crowd from the top end speed to the acceleration, explosive bursts and the leaping ability to go and get the ball off the top shelf. It will be interesting to see if Aoki is asked to play both ways this fall for Ashwaubenon. Whatever his role is, the tape should be impressive. Coaches, make sure you have Isaac on your boards.
