170+ OL and DL from WI, IL, MN, and beyond ascended upon the Sonnentag to perform in front of dozens of coaching staffs. The beautiful indoor facility set the stage for some impressive pad-popping between the talented group of athletes. The physical battles helped dozens of athletes in attendance earn offers from the variety of programs. We dove into the OL All Camp Team, now it is time to flip to the other side of the ball and name our All Camp Team for a DL group that was loaded to the brim.

This was an easy first choice as Deangelo would have been my MVP of the entire DL group. The 5'11" 247 lbs DL brings an elite level of disruptive talent to the trenches. He plays with a consistently explosive get off. The way he can transition from speed to power while also using his leverage allows him to win quickly with his power. His heavy hands are quick and violent, keeping him clean. The full array of traits were able to be displayed at the padded camp. Deangelo is one of the toughest DL matchups in the midwest. It shows up at camps and most importantly it has shown up for years on Friday nights where the Monona Grove product has piled up some unbelievable production. The 2027 DL has a growing list of next level options for him to choose from. If you're not involved in the pursuit of this DL you need to change that before it is too late. He is a special talent.

Andrew has been one of my biggest winners of the offseason. He has built himself into one of the most impressive IDL that WI has to offer. The Franklin athlete checked in at 6'1" 293 lbs with a 6'2" wingspan. That prototypical frame is equipped with traits that will give a college DL coach a difference maker by the time he is an upperclassman. While watching his reps there were three common words that kept coming to mind and hitting my notepad. Strong, explosive and violent. From the instant AJ jumps out of his stance he is loaded up with power to either bull rush an OL into the lap of the QB or he is going to show off that immense upper body strength as he shrugs or tosses OL aside on his way into the backfield. Chromy was so consistent with his leverage and technique rep to rep also. It is clear that the Franklin DL is one of the best at his position and will be a massive riser for us here at PRZ WI. This is a need to know type of athlete.

Another massive winner of the day was Aquinas' Charlie Kirchner. The rapidly rising DL left the day earning multiple offers and carried that momentum over to following camp appearances later that week. It all culminated in him earning a Duluth offer to which he would commit to a couple days later.

Leaving the event it was very clear and obvious that Charlie is going to be a huge riser in our next update. He has a fantastic frame for the position with a 6'9" wingspan and easily carrying his 253 lbs. Throughout the night he flashed strength, a quick get off, low pad level, and quick feet to get the edge on OL. Duluth has an impressive recruit coming to town whose best ball is still ahead of him.

There wasn't an athlete who won the night more than West Bend West DL [player_tooltip player_id='1620339' first='Colton' last='Markohn']. Following the event Colton was offered by Eau Claire, Winona State, Augustana, Bemidji State, and Upper Iowa. The 6'2" 228 lbs DE with a 6'5" wingspan was on a tear that night. He intriguingly blends speed and power, giving himself the ability to win with athleticism or violence. We saw him win with speed and length as he ran the loop to the backfield. The dominant edge also had an impressive rep where he was able to get under the OT, drive him back, and put him on the ground. The WBW edge is a mismatch. A big senior season is on the way from him.

What a showing from the MN native out of Bemidji. Nehemiah is the #1 ranked wrestler from MN and you can't help but see pieces of that sport show up during the Big Man Camp at UWEC. Nehemiah was able to beat much larger OL in board drill battles with his ability to win the leverage battle, a tool that the best wrestlers understand and utilize effectively. The way he used his hands too. They are strong and he could get OL off balance with how he would punch or pull them early in the rep. What also caught my eyes was a relentless motor. Every rep was 100 mph and before the rep was over he would find a way to beat his man. This is definitely an intriguing DL 2027 out of MN to have your eyes on.

Nick was a member of the DL Group 2 and quickly established himself as one of the best in the group. The frame and 6'4" wingspan had scouts and coaches in attendance buzzing. No doubt Nick looks the part for the interior DL trenches. The big man plays on feet that can get him success early in plays. He demonstrated a solid first step and the ability to counter off his first move. What stood out most though is how powerful he could play. The big man was able to consistently drive OL off the ball in board drills with a wide base and powerful upper body. This is definitely an under the radar 2027 to check out. He holds offers from Stevens Point and River Falls currently.

What I believed to already be a loaded Mondovi roster got even deeper with the emergence of DL Aiden Isaacson. The 2027 DL checked in at 6'3" 260 lbs with an elite 6'6" wingspan to round out a legitimate college frame. Aiden will need time to work on fine tuning his technique at the next level, but the raw tool should excite coaches. The big man was able to get penetration primarily with power, but also showed that he has the agile feet to change his path and counter when that initial rush doesn't work. The big man is a two way contributor for a very good Mondovi team. He just recently earned his first offer from D2 SMSU. This kid is just starting to take off, so jump on now while you can.

The 6' 206 lbs edge rusher out of La Crosse Central has been very active on the camp circuit here in June. His time in Eau Claire was a worthwhile trip. I was expecting to see the dynamic athlete show that he can be a mismatch off the edge with his athleticism and he did that. Avant is lightning quick off the snap, can change his pad level and make himself a hard target to punch. Plus his acceleration through the rep had OL chasing him as he attacked the edge. As soon as they thought they had the edge protected Avant flexed his ability to cut on a dime and leave OL punching air as he ran free to the backfield. What I wasn't expecting to see was the 206 lbs athlete winning multiple board drill reps. Even while taking on the big OL in attendance Avant did a great job driving his legs, winning the leverage and body position battle, and constantly resetting his hands to maintain some separation so he could maximize his leverage. It was a great evening for the 2027 edge rusher.

I was not familiar with Brody coming into the Eau Claire Big Man Camp from Cumberland, but he made a very good first impression on me. The UWEC staff must have liked what they saw too, offering him a couple days after the camp. The 5'10" 250 lbs 2027 was in Group 1, facing the best of the best. Brody first had my attention with how quick and fluid of an athlete he was through the drill work, but when the pads went on his performance solidified him as a top performer of the day. Active hands and nimble feet had OL reaching after missing their initial strike. He caught multiple OL off guard with how quick he got hands inside and drove them off the ball. It was a great display of technique, athleticism, and power from the northern WI athlete. He made a name for himself.

Gage is a multi-year alumni of the UWEC Big Man Camp. The 6'5" 267 lbs 2027 with a 6'5" wingspan looked improved from his 2025 showing. The insanely long DL had a better feel for his frame, moving more fluidly which led to more quickness and power compared to a year ago. The body control allowed him to play with a lower pad level too. That only gave him more power as he would drive Group 2 OL off the ball. Gage is a raw prospect, but he has tools to work with that you can't coach and he is making strides in his development year over year. Well worth a look.

Any time I cross paths with Tyson I know I am going to see him win more reps than he loses. The 5'10' 224 lbs athlete may be undersized for the DL position, but his relentless motor and effort pairs with his quick twitch athleticism to make him a problem for several OL. The 2027 is not only able to make OL miss and put himself in position to have the advantage of only having to beat half a man, but also turn that quickness into power. Power that can get OL off balance when he gets his hands inside on them. Tyson has played a high level of competition throughout his high school career, so he was not afraid to come into this event and go to battle.

One of the largest DL in attendance was Brookfield East's [player_tooltip player_id='1570838' first='Brody' last='Tittl']. The 6'3" 350 lbs 2027 has a 6'5" wingspan to go along with that immense frame. That size was tough to slow down during the Big Man event. Brody has some freakish strength thanks to that size. Multiple reps I was able to catch Brody throwing IOL to the ground on his way into the backfield. This is the type of athlete who can collapse the pocket quickly or you can ask him to two gap and control the interior line of scrimmage. We saw that power to hold the line in board drills over and over. Within a few days following the event Brody had offers from Eau Claire and Augsburg. Since then Oshkosh and St. Norbert's have also offered.
