Another massive winner of the day was Aquinas’ Charlie Kirchner. The rapidly rising DL left the day earning multiple offers and carried that momentum over to following camp appearances later that week. It all culminated in him earning a Duluth offer to which he would commit to a couple days later.
Leaving the event it was very clear and obvious that Charlie is going to be a huge riser in our next update. He has a fantastic frame for the position with a 6’9″ wingspan and easily carrying his 253 lbs. Throughout the night he flashed strength, a quick get off, low pad level, and quick feet to get the edge on OL. Duluth has an impressive recruit coming to town whose best ball is still ahead of him.

PrepRedzone has noticed over the past few camp cycles that La Crosse Aquinas High School seems to have the physically best-looking prospects at any and every summer camp we find ourselves scouting at. The summer of 2026’s rendition of this trend is 2027 Charlie Kirchner, an imposing First Team All-Eye Test, First-Off-the-Bus, and All-Lobby defensive end who measured in at a now-verified 6’4, 253 lbs. with a 6’9″ wingspan (!) at the 2026 UWEC Big Man Mega Camp. Despite what a recruits social media bio may say, there aren’t a lot of legit 6’4 prospects walking around, and Kirchner was tall, obviously long, and despite the frightening amount of room to fill in, was noticeably muscular and filled out for a mere rising senior. Additionally, and especially for his size, Kirchner was maybe the bendiest DL in attendance, with consistently positive and eye-catching leverage and pad level advantages over his opponents. Kirchner was up there as clocking maybe the most wins of the DL group. With the overwhelming size + length advantage, Kirchner also won with his get-off, which resembled a cannon ball shot out of a cannon at times, consistent hand placement, and quickness when working back inside on a setting OT. Kirchner also flashed some impressive power, winning with a mean, impactful bull rush when needed, and his ability to go speed to power had a few OTs going backwards on skates. This Blugold is in the middle of a stock rising summer!
