The Rize: NY Prospects MVP And Notes

As cringy as that was and as painful as it was to type, it the greatest show in all football this weekend. 24 States over 150 Prospects will head to The Dome in Jackson Twp New Jersey Mainly to see the Goat Al Pops, but also to compete and showcases their skills for colleges and their respective future High School Choices. He is an impressive prospect who will suit up and likely start for St. Anthony's this fall. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Shelton was a massive force working with the D-Line. He mainly was an interior rusher, but he can play inside and outside. He was quick off the line, and I liked his use of hands the tool bag he was bale to deploy when rushing. The talented Long Island Elite Signal Caller will attend St. Francis Prep in the fall. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Major held his own with a challenging and impressive QB group and while I did not watch all his reps I managed to catch a good amount of 1v1's and 7v7's. He showed good poise, and he worked through progressions well. He has a strong arm, and good accuracy. Ivackovic wore #58 and will suit up for the Lions of Monsignor Farrell next season. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ivackovic suited up at the LB position for The Rize, but he is a true unicorn who can play just about everywhere on the field. He is a quick shifty and agile with his footwork. He was fast during the 40s, and I liked watching him work in 1v1s. The future Erasmus Hall Lineman, was wearing #67 throughout the day in Jackson Twp. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Having a nickname is tough because it means you need to be able to back it up. "Big Mike" certainly did that this past weekend. He showed strong hands, and was explosive off the line driving DL-men away from the backfield and finishing with elite power. The talented WR will attend St. Anthony's this fall, and be a key piece as they hunt for a Catholic League Championship. He attacked balls in drills, and made good use of his hands in 1v1 reps. He has outstanding range and body control which I was impressed with during Endzone Fade Reps.
