It was mostly a good day for Adeyosola Obatola. The EHall-bound prospect showcased some solid fundamentals, as well as his raw strength. Against smaller opponents, he simply had no use for them and consistently threw them out of the club. From a pass protection standpoint, Obatola kept his inside post well, which allowed him balance and stability. He could, however, stand to power down a bit more quickly. For Obatola’s game to take the next step, I want to see him work to refit his hands inside, back on to his opponent, more consistently.

Nicknamed “Big Mike,” the Future Erasmus Hall lineman has elite strength, and showed a massive frame. He held back some stud Defensive Lineman this past weekend, and his blend of hands and strength could lead him to the top of the charts.

Adeyosola Obatola – loved this kid during individuals. Wanted him to win more reps during 1v1 competition, still impressed overall. Received serious First Team All Camp votes. Likely the most athletic big name offensive line prospect out of this crop. Has a ways to go in terms of technique, how to handle speed, and defensive line pass rush moves, but I have to remind myself. This is a 2030 prospect. A ton of potential to debut high on our Prep Redzone New York high school site. Could be an early offer candidate.

Having a nickname is tough because it means you need to be able to back it up. “Big Mike” certainly did that this past weekend. He showed strong hands, and was explosive off the line driving DL-men away from the backfield and finishing with elite power. Obatola is a monster on the line, and Erasmus Hall is gaining a scary prospect.

He recently took part in the rising stars bowl game in NY, where he had an impressive day. I am curious to see how the future Erasmus Hall lineman can perform amongst the nations best.

Adeyosola Obatola has proven as to why he is going to be competing in the “RIZE” event in New Jersey. Look for him representing the 2030 class out of New York because he is a baller and can prove once again as to why he will be in Jersey for this major event!
