Cory Lemer | Prep Redzone Scout
Background: Bordeaux is a name who was elevated from our watch list following a solid season and an impressive winter showcase with Prep Redzone. He has made the move to Erasmus Hall moving forward, and slots in as the third ranked RB in the 2028 Class.
Measurables: Standing at 5’10” 190-Pounds, Bordeaux displays a solid frame for a RB. He is pure muscle, and looks massive on the field. He can look to continue adding good weight moving forward.
Evaluation: Bordeaux, is a strong back who plays with intense physicality. He looks massive for a playmaker, at the RB position, and despite his size, has exceptional speed for a RB. He played limited snaps behind

last season, but showcase quick footwork, fluid hip and good changes of direction. He can stop on a dime with ease and avoid tackles. His ability to stay upright and level as he moves down hill is impressive. He can improve his vision moving forward, as all his traits, but he is an excellent back who continues to improve.

. Bordeaux looks like he played in the NFL for 10 years. He was built strong, and was massive. He measured in at 5’10” 187-Pounds, and as a Sophomore, has plenty of room to grow. He attacked the ground with every carry, and showed the ability to make quick cuts upfield. In every aspect of the showcase, Bordeaux dominated, and it is scary to see he is just a backup at the moment, but watch out for him, I expect a huge explosion this season from the Friars’s RB.

Bordeaux is a large and imposing human being. We’ve got him listed at 5’9, 160 here but he’s much bigger than that. The roster for the event says 5’10, 180 but I’d wager he’s even bigger. He is a rocked up, powerful back that is explosive in and out of breaks. Tree trunks for legs and he jumped a 9’3 broad. As a ’28! He flashed in the receiving game and he had surprising twitch for a guy his size. He can do it all, he’s big enough to get you 2 yards when you need it, but can also get freaky in space for big games. It’s bene tough for him to shine playing behind future P4 runningback

was one of the clear standouts at the NY Showcase this past Saturday, turning heads with a physical presence that immediately separated him from his peers. He looked like a man among boys, with his weight room work evident in his build and power. I was impressed from start to finish with how Christian performed on the field.
Christian consistently showed the ability to dig his foot into the ground and get north-south in a hurry, pairing that burst with impressive quickness in the open field. He ran with confidence and decisiveness, never hesitating through the hole and showing no fear when squaring up against the linebackers. His sharp, efficient cuts and overall polish made him one of the most impressive prospects of the entire day, earning him recognition as the top performing running back at the showcase.

Bordeaux got in the game late for the Friars, and had some nice runs along with a touchdown. The Sophomore back is a playmaker to watch as his Hs career progresses.
With limited snaps, it was tough to gain a good read on him. The Sophomore back was fast, and displayed good speed on runs. He was tough to tackle, and displayed elite footwork, and vision. The gaps were created for Bordeaux, and he capitalized on them, racking up solid yardage on the day.

– With his performance at the New Jersey PRZ Next Middle School Combine, he becomes the third New York prospect to win the Running Back MVP award. He joins 2027 Kory Brown (Tottenville), who won it when he was in eighth-grade in January of 2023 and Xavier Bala (St. Anthony’s), who won it when he was in eighth-grade in May of 2023.
– A very well-put together and chiseled prospect at 5-foot-9 and 160-pounds, who looks every bit the part of a future stud on the high school level.
– After originally opening my eyes as a member of the Long Island Elite program, watching him in person was a treat. Very shifty when making a move against Linebackers.
– He’s off to St. Anthony’s, where he’ll be paired in the same backfield with the aforementioned Xavier Bala.
