Baylor Camp Standouts: Who Showed Out in Waco

Baylor camp had a little bit of everything young guys trying to make a name, older prospects holding their own, and a constant pace that forced everyone to compete. The biggest separator wasn't just the highlight plays, it was who could take coaching and actually carry it over to the next rep. He flew around well, stayed active in drills and consistently showed up near the football competitive period. There were flashes where his first step help him get to where he wanted pretty quick.   He still developing, but the tools are there and he will continue to build. Leo currently hold and offer UTSA.     Jinanwa Stayed composed in drills which allowed him to stay with good balance and didn't get overextended when working on drills. He took in a lot of coaching rep after rep. I cant wait to see the the outcome this season from him.     Morgan out of Oklahoma left camp with a performance that caught attention and it wasn't built on just one or two moments. He stayed involved in everything from start to finish, competing in every period with out fading as the day went on.   Morgan was offered by Baylor after camp.     Kaiveon is a really young DB, but you can already see he's not afraid of the moment. What i liked most was how he kept battling in space and didn't shut it down after mistakes. For a young kid its more about showing you'll compete first and he definitely did that.     No Surprise here, john had a really strong showing at WR and backed it up with a performance that kept building as the day went on.   John was offered by Baylor.     Tuner, the Nebraska transfer now heading to Melissa HS, had a steady day at camp and showed why we a good prospect. He did a good job working through different arm angles. The arm talent showed up in tight windows and intermediate throws. Turner was later on offered by baylor.     Henry is a rising OL who showed some real growth today. What stood out was his ability to take the coaching and apply right then and there. He didn't try to win with strength alone, he kept his hands actice and worked to finish reps.   Henry was offered by Baylor.     David didn't need a tone of time to show up on Baylor radar at camp. From the first few competitive reps , he brought energy off the edge and wasn't afraid to challenge OL .   There were a few reps where his burst stood out.   David was offered by Baylor .     Malcom had a solid camp. He moved clean in space , stayed composed in coverage. He look good going through bags drills , stayed connected when receivers during one on ones. He stayed engaged. I love how malcom performed all day.   Malcom was offered by baylor after camp.     Webb Jr is starting to show real signs of being that prospect people are going to hear more about soon. At camp, he competed with confidence and didnt look overwhelm at all. He understands how to get open in one one ones. Getting in and out of breaks and of course finishing with good catches.     Kingston moves well throughout the day. Stayed light on his feet in drills and showed the ability to move in several directions. He look good while transitions in space. I would love to see more patience at the with kingtson , but overall is he a had a good camp.     Germaquis had one of those days at RB. He just kept showing up in different ways. As the day went on , he continued to separate himself with his energy and performance carried enough weight for Baylor to extend and offer to him after camp.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2026/06/image_3a1136.png?w=768" alt="" class="wp-image-2228334" /></figure>       Tremaine already has the size that stands out the moment he steps on the field ,and camp he showed enough to suggest there a lot more coming as he develops. He had moments where he created separating and made catches. Once he cleans up the small details this summer and carries that into the fall, he's going to be in a much better spit to make a real jump.     Jason put together a showing at camp and really started separating himself as the day went on. He look comfortable competing with older defenders. There moments where his ability to create separation stood out especially getting out his breaks. Jason also trains with David Robinson.   Jason was later offered by Baylor after camp.     Peter was one of the young guys at the camp, but he didn't shy away from competing. He showed effort at RB showing he can run routes and on LB showing he can cover. For a young player, it was a sold all around showing that gives him something to build on moving forward.     Joseph showed some good arm talent, especially the way the ball spins out his hands. He stayed composed , setting his feet , and delivering with confidence rahter than rushing throws. Even on longer throws, he was able to the ball on the line while still giving his receivers a chance to make plays.     Grant is staring to climb as a TE and you can see why. I've watch grant in several camps and seems to get better at every camp. What stood out to me at baylor camp is how Grant is good at contested catches.     Oscar definitely passes the eye test with his size and presence up front. He's still raw technically, but you can see once all of those are polish he will be a problem at the position. As he continue to develop his hand usage and footwork oscar will be in good hands.     Dylan look good at receiver and you can tell there still a lot of room for him to grow, nut the tools are there. He looked good catching the ball , there were moments where you see it starting to click during camp. Dylan will be a different players once 2026 season comes around.     Grant a young defensive of lineman and showed encouraging flashes. He still developing technically bit you can he's willing to work and learn as the day went on. As he continue to add strength and refine his hand usage, the foundation he showed today give him something solid to build on.     Eric showed some natural feel for the position. He ran good with balance and open field reps. Looking good bag Drills. As the reps went on, you could see him getting more comfortable and confident in his routes. The flashes are there and he will continue to keep stacking good days and sharpening his details.     RJ really caught my eye was his nonstop footwork. Even when the rep wasn't perfect , his feet never stopped moving and allowed him to stay active and recover into position. RJ can play DE position as well as LB. He took a lot of coaching at camp and put into the season.     Carter in the class of 2023 showed a lot of promise at camp. You can tell he's still learning the position ,. but he's starting to understand the importance of staying low and using his hands properly and finishing through the whistle. He runs well for the position and doesn't look out of place when he has to get down the field. There's still a lot of development ahead, but you can already see moments where the ball comes out clean and on time when he's in rhythm.     Kyle didnt look stiff or rushed his movements, they were natural flow when to flip his hips. He competed with patience and didn't panic when WRs tried to stack him.     Gregory took a lot of coaching and showed some good effort. As the session went on, he did a good job fixing his stance , used great hand placement and footwork. He absorb instruction and put it to work.     Cooepr made the most of his time at BU. Soaking up every coaching point he could get. You could growth from one rep to the next as he refined his footwork, timing and mechanics. Cooper leaves camp with plenty of new tools to add to his game and it'll be exciting to see how he translates those lessons on to the field this fall.     Vance a tight end from Florida, He displayed reliable hands and did a nice job working through position drills. He moved well for his size, stayed engaged with coaching, and attacked each rep with confidence. During route running periods, he showed the ability to get in and out his breaks showing natural hands.     Kaden was dropping dimes at baylor camp. He showed good touch on deeper throws while also displaying arm talent. He nice job leading receivers and allowing them run under the ball.     Pittman looked great during indy period. He was focused on sharpening his mechanics. He was engaged with the coaching points and worked to keep his base underneath him while throwing the football. One thing i really liked was during routes on air, he wasn't simply throwing to the WR next in line; he was going through progessions as if he was reading a route concept during a game. We will keep a close eye on Pittman.     Terrell attention to detail while be coached is what stood out to me. Everything that was being taught to the finer points and work to apply them immediately during drills. His ability to flip his hips and to plant to drive into catching the ball was impressive.     I've now seen jace at multiple camps this summer UTSA, SFA and each time he continues to show why he's up next. By the way he moves, you can tell he study the WR position. His details in both running routes and catching the football .     Elijah showed plenty of fight throughout the camp and didn't back down from competition. I love how he was able to recover after getting beat off the line. He was able to close the gap quickly and get himself back into making a play. Elijah will continue to polish is game throughout the summer and all the way through fall camp. We will keep an eye on him this season.    Baylor camp provided a great opportunities to see athletes compete , take coaching and get on the radar. The players who stood out weren't just making plays, but the ones who stayed locked in during drills, and paid attention to details and showed improvements from rep to rep. It's clear there is plenty of talent around the state of Texas; the talent will continue to evlolved from from there.
