About Turner
Expert Analysis

Turner is a quarterback who shows clear comfort operating an offense and keeping everything on schedule. He plays with good rhythm, especially in quick-game concepts where timing and anticipation are key. The ball comes out clean and on time, and when his feet are set, he’s accurate at the short and intermediate levels, consistently putting his receivers in a position to make plays.
One of the more noticeable traits on film is his poise under pressure. When the pocket starts to collapse, Turner doesn’t immediately drop his eyes or panic. Instead, he keeps his vision downfield, slides within the pocket, resets his base, and looks to deliver the football. That ability to stay composed allows him to extend plays mentally as well as physically, keeping the offense functional even when things break down.
As he transitions from Nebraska to Melissa High School, it’s a key step in his development and exposure. He finished with 1,239 passing yards (11.1 YPC), going 107-of-190 (56%) with 10 passing touchdowns and 15 total touchdowns. The production shows a quarterback who can move the ball and contribute to scoring drives while still continuing to grow into his role as a passer.
Heading into his new environment, Turner has an opportunity to take a step forward in consistency and efficiency. With his poise, rhythm passing, and ability to operate within structure, he brings a solid foundation to build on as he settles into Melissa’s system.
