RJ really caught my eye was his nonstop footwork. Even when the rep wasn’t perfect , his feet never stopped moving and allowed him to stay active and recover into position. RJ can play DE position as well as LB. He took a lot of coaching at camp and put into the season.

Ellison put together a steady showing at linebacker, working through bag drills with a relaxed but controlled style. He moved efficiently through each rep, showing good rhythm in his footwork and staying balanced when changing directions.

He didn’t look rushed or out of sync at any point, instead relying on clean movement and solid body control to stay consistent throughout the drill work. There were flashes of natural fluidity when redirecting, which is a good sign for his athletic base at the position.
