Copelin has started the season on fire and in week three he set a school record, passing for 7 touchdowns. He has excellent pocket awareness, Copelin is athletic with ability to navigate pressure and he keeps his eyes on his targets downfield. He has the arm talent to spray the route tree at all levels of the field with accuracy and he can make throws from multiple arm slots. Copelin can make plays with his feet enabling him to be a threat in the running game. Keep an eye on Copelin and The Woodlands as they head into district play.

Copelin had himself a night in a victory over Klein Oak. Throughout the game, he displayed his versatility by making plays with his legs, extending opportunities outside the pocket and delivering accurate throws on the move.

When faced with pressure, Copelin remained composed. He escaped rushers, climbed the pocket and delivered strikes from difficult angles. His athleticism helped keep drives alive and consistently put the Highlanders’ offense in position to score.

Copelin’s ability to create when plays break down adds another dangerous element to the offense and was a major factor in the victory.

Copelin is the next QB1 in line to take over at The Woodlands this season and he put the state on notice with his performance in College Station over the weekend. He is extremely accurate in the short to intermediate zones and he has the arm talent to push the ball deep, stretching the defense vertically. Kaden has a quick trigger, he goes through his progressions quickly and when he sees an open target he delivers dimes in rhythm. Copelin saw action last season for the Highlanders, tossing 11 touchdowns in a back up roll. But there is no doubt who The Woodlands will have under center this season.

Kaden was dropping dimes at baylor camp. He showed good touch on deeper throws while also displaying arm talent. He nice job leading receivers and allowing them run under the ball.

aden put together a solid day at quarterback during individual and routes on air, showing steady command and improving timing with his receivers. He operated with clean footwork and a smooth release, consistently getting the ball out on schedule during scripted reps.

Kaden is a very mobile quarterback who knows how to make things happen when plays break down. Even in a limited sample of 6 games, he showed he can impact the game with his athleticism and playmaking ability, turning broken situations into positive gains and keeping drives alive.

On tape, Kaden’s mobility stands out immediately. He’s quick to escape pressure, stays alert when the pocket collapses, and is always looking to extend the play rather than just take a sack. That ability forces defenses to stay disciplined, because he can take off and pick up yards at any moment.

Even with limited action, he showed flashes of being able to operate the offense and create momentum when needed. Whether it was improvising outside the pocket or picking up yards on the ground, he consistently found ways to “make it happen” when the play didn’t go as designed.
