In this installment of our Twitter submitted film review we are diving into the Class of 2027! All 10 athletes are ready to launch their summer of camps after a long offseason of growth, development, and other sport involvement. This group of 10 is a group that should be heavily discussed among coaching staffs. We have small school monsters, under the radar kids, and athletes who are ready to work their way up from their current ranking. Coaches, I can't stress enough that you review these athletes. Especially coaches at the D2/D3 levels. There are even a couple where the FCS/G5 should at least take a peak at the film. So enough talk. Let's dive into the tape!

Braylon is one of the kids that every level should at least take a look at. The small school RB is coming off a massively productive junior season, has built a legitimate college RB frame at 6' 220, and the tape shows an extremely well rounded game. Braylon has great contact balance and a violent running style that comes together to make him a nightmare to bring down. The '27 RB is fantastic at never letting his legs stop churning. Despite his large frame we also see some lateral shake and agility when needed. Plus he can hit another gear when he breaks free into the open field. Braylon also has already tested well this offseason including a 4.69 40, 36" vertical, and 30 reps of 185 at the WFCA Combine. You need to dive into the highlights and watch his dominance.

The left side of the West Salem OL is going to be something to watch this fall. At left guard we have 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2103577' first='William' last='Clements'] clearing the way. I love how instantly powerful he is when he gets his hands clamped onto his opponent. When he is able to fire out of his stance and attack, William is able to easily overwhelm and move DL. The 6'1" 275 lbs junior IOL also has shown that he can play laterally while engaging with DL and still gain ground while flowing with the rest of the OL. Throughout his tape it also stands out how the big man doesn't get caught off balance or reaching, and instead trusting his feet to get him to his man. Don't miss out on him.

A long time favorite on the OL in the Class 0f 2027 is Racine Case OL [player_tooltip player_id='1226881' first='Trenton' last='Harris']. The 6'1' 285 lbs OL has built the early stage of his career around being an elite technician. That has carried over to his junior season and now offseason. The big man is insanely light on his feet with the body control to instantly change direction to mirror pass rushers. Trenton is great playing with a wide, powerful base, getting angles and up to level two, as well as getting hands inside and constantly working to keep them there. What truly set it in stone that Trenton can be a D1 recruit is now we are seeing him prove how he can win with the power he has loaded onto his frame in recent years. It isn't about just being in the right place at the right time or leverage/angles. Now he can also straight up whoop DL with his strength. Harris is checking every box and is going to climb even further up this insanely elite Class rankings.

Another member of this unforgettable Class of 2027 OL group is Badger's [player_tooltip player_id='1908864' first='Quentin' last='Spiegelhoff']. The 6'4" 265 lbs IOL has an endless supply of run blocking clips to go through. Down blocks, reaching a DL, or getting up to level two are all second nature to Quentin. That big frame can move efficiently and quickly and when he arrives at his target you see the instant force he is able to generate on contact. It is impressive to see how one snap he can fire out and dominate with power. Then the next he is dipping around an IDL to set them up for a trap and flying up to an LB. The big man also has a lot of room on that long frame to continue to fill out at the next level.

Patrick is a two way playmaker for Madison La Follette where he plays QB and safety. I believe safety will be his future full time home. On the back end he gets to flex his speed and his football IQ. Patrick has been able to generate turnovers with his ability to put himself in the right places at the right times. His range from his center field position is a major key to that as well as how quickly he can read and react. On offense we see him create some big plays with that speed on designed keeps or running the option. As a passer you see how natural of an athlete he is, slinging it around with accuracy and touch. Patrick is a raw prospect, but when he gets to the next level and focuses on one spot he should be able to make strides in his game. I'm excited to see him this summer and also watch his team this fall.

Corey is a unique talent for Brookfield Central. As the wing back in their offense we see Corey utilized as a receiving and running threat. The '27 ATH is at his best when he can lean on his quick burst, acceleration, and agility. He is able to create space and get open quickly, making him a tough matchup to try and contain. The 5'10" 165 lbs athlete is a selfless player too. Willing to throw his body around, make key blocks to spring his teammates open on the outside as he hooks the edge defender. The tape also shows that Corey will line up out wide and can get off the line quickly and get open early in the play. Plus he has reliable hands that catch the ball away from his body. Corey is a chess piece for his offense and can deliver on a lot of different responsibilities.

Next up we have a northern WI playmaker to get on your campus this summer because I have a feeling he will put on a great show. Aidan is a difference maker at WR and DB for Baldwin- Woodville. He has a great build for the two positions, but even more importantly is the Aidan has the athleticism to continue to make a difference at the next level. On offense you see the variety of ways that he create separation. An effective, quick release vs press. Speed to run away from DBs on deeper routes. Agility and savviness to his route running to get DBs a step out of position. Aidan has the ball skills to be able to go and get it at the high point away from his frame too. Then on defense you see him provide tight coverage with his speed. Speed that also allows him to be aggressive and try to undercut routes last second. He also adds special teams impact as a kick returner. Tap into his highlights to see everything.

The 5'9" 177 lbs 2027 RB out of the Brookfield Central backfield is a home run threat. Turn on the tape and you see Aadil show off that game-changing speed. I love the way he runs decisively. While he may be a quick, explosive back Aadil is not someone who is going to dance around and try to juke his way through traffic. Instead he finds the seam or sets up a block and then hits the gas to fly through to daylight. By doing that he puts so much pressure on the defense to be gap responsible or he will take it 50+. The playmaker also is a viable option in the quick passing game where he can get the ball out in space closer to full speed. Also very important, Aadil will step up and make key blocks in pass pro for his QB. Take a look at examples of all that in the tape linked below.

Austin is putting together a great start to this summer. He has already participated in a combine and a camp. The 6'4" 180 lbs WR has used those events to prove he is more than just a size mismatch. Austin has put up a 6.96 L-Drill, 33" vertical, 9'1" broad jump, 4.57 40 yard dash. So not only can Austin go up and get it off the top shelf over a DB, but he is going to make it tough for the DB to just stay with him. Austin is able to attack every level of the field thanks to that ability to change direction quickly at his size. His strong hands are able to win reps too when he doesn't open up a window of separation from the DB. Austin is starting his summer off right and already earned his first offer from St. Norbert's.

The All Region DB is rolling since last fall. He finished 2025 with 3 INTs, 7 PBUs, 50 tackles, and returned 4 kicks/punts for TDs. This spring he started things off with a good combine where he put up 4.66 in the 40, 36" in the vertical, 9'6" in the broad, and 7.20 in the L-Drill. His junior highlights start off with his big play threat as a returner. With the football in his hands, Dominic has outstanding vision and feel for where to attack and what angles to take to beat pursuit. His speed shines in these plays as well as he flies by defenders. At CB you see more of those instinctive, awareness driven plays as he breaks down the play on the fly and is able to be aware of who is in his area. From there he has the speed to be able to close on the ball anywhere in his vicinity. It is clear the Homestead staff trusts his abilities to run with WRs on his own and be able to make plays on the football while doing it. Dominic is going to be a big riser if he continues on this path.
