Patrick is a two way playmaker for Madison La Follette where he plays QB and safety. I believe safety will be his future full time home. On the back end he gets to flex his speed and his football IQ. Patrick has been able to generate turnovers with his ability to put himself in the right places at the right times. His range from his center field position is a major key to that as well as how quickly he can read and react. On offense we see him create some big plays with that speed on designed keeps or running the option. As a passer you see how natural of an athlete he is, slinging it around with accuracy and touch. Patrick is a raw prospect, but when he gets to the next level and focuses on one spot he should be able to make strides in his game. I’m excited to see him this summer and also watch his team this fall.

Patrick is an interesting recruit. I am confident he can play at the next level because he is a talented athlete. On options he makes great reads and decisions and has the burst and second gear to really kill a defense with his legs. That quick ability to read and react is a legitimate weapon for him. His future may not be at QB because as a passer Patrick is much more raw. You see the natural ability to make effective passes 30-40 yards downfield when needed. Whether it be as more of a developmental passer or an ATH, Patrick is well worth having a look into.
