It didn’t take long to establish who the best running back in attendance was as the nod for me went to Brookfield Central 2027 Aadil Bajwa Aadil Bajwa 5'9" | 177 lbs | RB Brookfield Central | 2027 State WI . He showed off excellent agility as one of the best we saw with the RB group and one other skillset that was something you couldn’t miss as an evaluator was the toughness, pad-level and physicality Aadil showed off in pass-blocking reps as he showed a running back that can do the dirty work without the ball. The 5’10 195 pounder also has ideal next-level size and it’s evident has been in the weight room this offseason. When he got the ball in his hands, Aadil was also locked in when it came to his attention to detail getting around the cones with great tightness when turning the corners with his change of direction. The overall balance this young man showed in Menomonie with his skillsets should surely paint some attention coming his way this summer at the next-level as he’s got playing on Saturdays written all over him.

The 5’9″ 177 lbs 2027 RB out of the Brookfield Central backfield is a home run threat. Turn on the tape and you see Aadil show off that game-changing speed. I love the way he runs decisively. While he may be a quick, explosive back Aadil is not someone who is going to dance around and try to juke his way through traffic. Instead he finds the seam or sets up a block and then hits the gas to fly through to daylight. By doing that he puts so much pressure on the defense to be gap responsible or he will take it 50+. The playmaker also is a viable option in the quick passing game where he can get the ball out in space closer to full speed. Also very important, Aadil will step up and make key blocks in pass pro for his QB. Take a look at examples of all that in the tape linked below.

Aadil has been on our radar for the past couple years so it was great to see the sophomore in person. The 5’9″ 177 lbs sophomore flashed over and over while watching the RB group. I was most impressed with his play in the 1 on 1 receiving reps. The sophomore was able to close the gap on LBs quickly and showed an effective burst out of breaks that always opened up at least a little bit of space for his QB to target. To top it off, Aadil did a great job of securing the catch with some impressive last second adjustments and overall catches. I’m very excited to see how he continues to develop and make an impact this fall.
