Twitter Mania Analysis: Part II

It has been great to see the variety that this has brought us. Freshmen through juniors. Every position and every talent level. Today's group features several under the radar juniors along with multiple sophomores who are knocking on the door and ready for their breakout year. Make sure to check out each of the 10 athletes in today's article so they aren't under the radar for you and you know who to watch for in the up and coming classes. Let's dive in and hit play on some tape!    Cooper's tape gets me very excited for what he could become down the road. He earned a varsity job on an OL that needs to be elite at run blocking for their team to put up points. He thrives in the run game where with his athleticism and OL mentality. At 245 lbs, Cooper is undersized but has learned how to negate that. He fires off the ball quickly and violently. Gets hands on as fast as he can and then uses his feet to keep him in position to stay locked on his man. Cooper's tape also shows that he has been able to use leverage to move bigger DL and also turn that quick burst into some power. It is also a massive boost that the '28 OT attacks with that nasty OL mentality where he is looking to play to the whistle and finish his blocks. Big things for Cooper if he continues on his path of development and growth.      Colton mans one of the off-ball OLB positions for SP West and projects to the next level as more of a hybrid S/LB. The 6' 185 lbs athlete's best tape is when he is asked to play in space. That is where Colton can lean on his strengths. Awareness to read the QB or his player assignment. Agility and quick acceleration to be able to change direction in time to be able to close and make plays on the ball in the air. Colton also does a great job of tackling 1 on 1 in the open field. HIs overall athleticism has also given his DC the choice to blitz him off the edge where he has proven he can go from the slot and still make the chase down sack. With his skillset I think we could see Colton put together a successful summer camp circuit heading into his senior season.      We have a fun prospect here in Oregon edge Will Carstensen. The 2027 checks in at 6'4" and now 205 lbs. He has some explosive tape from the 2025 season. We see Will line up in that very wide technique where he can win by taking a straight path to the backfield to create a ton of disruption and chaos. The only way that plan works is if the player doing that has the speed and get off to get there in time. That fits Will's game really well. Rep after rep you see the '27 edge fly off the line and into the backfield to make a sack or chase down the RB from behind. It was also really great to see him show some sudden agility to avoid a lead blocker and make the tackle a few times. That burst and range off the edge is valuable and should catch the eyes of coaches during the upcoming summer camps. Until we get to those camps pass the time by watching the junior's highlights from 2025.      It is easy to shrug off a 5'11" 215 lbs OL, but Baylor proved he belonged at center for Winneconne in 2025. An OL that featured Baylor and four seniors. An OL that cleared the way for 14 straight games on the way to a State Championship. Baylor understands his limitations too. He wins with quickness and body positioning, and once he gets in the right spots he doesn't let DL get around him. The '28 actually has multiple clips of him getting DTs on the ground early in the play too. Of course he will need to add to that frame to play at the next level, but he is learning how to win with the traits he currently has. That is a big part of the battle. Learning how to win with what you are given.      Austin brings a very large frame to the trenches at LT for Janesville Parker. The 6'3" 300 lbs lineman is built to bring the attack to the DL. When he can fire out with power and get the momentum of that large frame rolling forward into contact with the DL then he is able to create that surge in the OL and reset the line of scrimmage downfield. If he can get in a power scheme that will let him attack off the snap he will be at his best. The '27 also flashes some surprising range to get to LBs and has some lateral agility but I think he will fit best at guard where he can utilize that big frame in his pass blocking. He is an under the radar junior that I can see one of the WIAC or other D3 teams coming after.      One of our top freshmen in the state is up next in RB Zekodi Allen out of Janesville Craig. The 5'9" 185 lbs freshman RB worked his way into a larger and larger role on varsity as the season rolled on. I get fired up when I turn on the tape for Zekodi. His ceiling is very high based off where he is at after his freshman season. The instincts are clearly strong and natural. He finds seams and sets up blocks or hits a cut back lane like a senior. The athleticism to go along with those instincts pairs perfectly. Quick and twitchy agility to work through traffic, powerful acceleration when he finds the alley he wants to hit, and the top end speed to be able to break off long runs. The freshman RB also served as kick returner. It is great to see his coaches tryign to find ways to get him the ball. He is a playmaker who is building towards being a very impressive athlete by the time his senior year rolls around.      This is an IOL that could really take off at the next level after a few years in a college weight room and nutrition program. He currently sits at 6' 230 lbs and has a frame that can continue to fill out. What I love most from his tape is that Mason is an outstanding athlete for an OL. He springs out of his stance to get hands on the DL. Mason is so quick to always put himself at the right angle or body positioning to put himself between the ball and defense. While engaged he has the feet to stay square on his man so that he can maximize the strength he has to move DL. The range he brings to the field shines on tape too. It is effortless for Mason to pull and lead around the opposite tackle or fly up to an LB. If he can continue to get stronger and add fill out his frame then I have no doubt he can catch the eyes of the D3 schools across WI. He has the right mentality for the job and really effective athleticism. Check him out!      Carter is a 6'2" 195 lbs multi-sport athlete for Bonduel. On the field he is a multi-position player, making plays at RB and LB. The soon-to-be senior brings a lot of versatility to the field. Right from the start of his tape you see that he has that game-breaking speed where he can hit a hole and be gone for 80 yards and a score. His speed and frame are not a combo we see very often. What is also unique is how Carter can make defenders miss while running between the tackles. Despite the frame he will have defenders completely whiffing on him in tight quarters. To round his offensive skills out even more, Moesch will even line up out at WR and look like a natural running routes and reeling in difficult catches. Because of his size, speed, and strength we also see Carter make a ton of plays on the edge on defense. He can easily set the edge, shed the block, and he has the ability to deliver some devastating tackles with his power. You need to have this 2027 on your radars.      The longer I watch through his highlights the more I think that Alex is a gamer on Friday nights. He just finds ways to make plays at RB and LB. At 5'9" 190 lbs he is undersized for a typical LB, but this kid is all over the front seven. He is strong while blitzing, powering through gaps and OL into the backfield. On offense that thick frame has proven to be sturdy through traffic. His footwork through traffic in the trenches also flashes over and over as he cuts and weaves through alleys and around defenders trying to meet him 1 on 1 in the hole. The 2027 is able to consistently find ways to impact the game.      The 6'2" 185 lbs lefty QB and safety out of C-FC was a key piece to C-FC making a run to a State appearance in 2025. As a passer Parker can sling it around the field. The ball zips out of his hand and even when he is going 40+ yards downfield we see the velocity holding all the way to the receiver. Parker is able to quickly set and get the ball out with a concise throwing motion. Most importantly, Parker is really good with his accuracy from the quick passing game to dropping it in a bucket deep downfield. When he decides to keep it himself the dual threat QB has the speed to flip the field. He also has the agility to get himself out of trouble in the backfield. His play at QB seems to have also made him very instinctual as a safety on the back end of the defense. Tap into his highlights.
