About Mason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im an offensive lineman who plays fast, aggressive, and strong every snap. I take pride in being aware of what’s happening on the field, reacting quickly, and finishing blocks with power. I bring a physical mindset, stay locked in mentally, and do my job to protect the quarterback and open lanes in the run game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is tough, focused, and disciplined. I stay locked in, play through adversity, and hold myself accountable every snap. I bring energy, stay coachable, and put the team first. My personality is competitive and driven, I’m always pushing to improve, do my job right, and outwork whoever lines up across from me.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I stay composed under pressure and keep my teammates focused when things get intense. I communicate clearly on the line, hold others accountable, and set the tone with my effort and physicality. I lead by example by showing up ready to work, staying disciplined, and doing my job every play. I stay coachable, keep learning, and use my awareness to help everyone stay on the same page.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college program that values effort, toughness, and development over just size. I know I may be undersized for an offensive lineman, but I play aggressive, work hard, and compete every snap. I want a coaching staff that’s willing to give me a chance, develop my skills, and push me to reach my full potential. I’m looking for a program where I can earn everything, and prove I belong

This is an IOL that could really take off at the next level after a few years in a college weight room and nutrition program. He currently sits at 6′ 230 lbs and has a frame that can continue to fill out. What I love most from his tape is that Mason is an outstanding athlete for an OL. He springs out of his stance to get hands on the DL. Mason is so quick to always put himself at the right angle or body positioning to put himself between the ball and defense. While engaged he has the feet to stay square on his man so that he can maximize the strength he has to move DL. The range he brings to the field shines on tape too. It is effortless for Mason to pull and lead around the opposite tackle or fly up to an LB. If he can continue to get stronger and add fill out his frame then I have no doubt he can catch the eyes of the D3 schools across WI. He has the right mentality for the job and really effective athleticism. Check him out!
