Our recent senior rankings shows a well representation of quarterbacks inside our Tennessee Top 300. This class has multiple high caliber signal callers along with several others that are talented but sit under the radar. Which signal callers made it within our initial rankings? Find out below inside our quarterback breakdown!

Each and every year, the quarterback position here in Tennessee continues to evolve and get better. I think that's the case with our senior crop. It's a class that is dripping with potential and star power along with several others that show talent and traits to potentially excel on the college stage. I do see solid depth here as well with a few signal callers that I think can take that next step forward and boost their recruiting stocks with strong senior campaigns.

The Top 100

- As things sit right now, we have eight quarterbacks inside our “Top 100” with Antioch signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] leading the way in the number one spot. Ranked 15th overall, the Bears senior brings tremendous upside to the field as a cerebral, multi-talented prospect that can beat teams with both his arms and his legs. Committed recently to Colorado, Adams has the type of mental makeup to come into college, learn the system and find snaps early in his career that might lead to an eventual full time starting job, which is a strong point towards why Adams is our number one ranked quarterback.

Right behind Adams is a new addition to Tennessee in [player_tooltip player_id='939950' first='Keegan' last='Croucher']. This Northeast native is transferring into Baylor for his senior season with his college decision already wrapped up. Croucher is set to play for Ole Miss in college and his arm talent fits well as Croucher can spin it with the best of them. Ranked 17th overall, the Red Raiders signal caller brings tons of physical tools to the field that speaks towards a future of running the show with the Rebels.

A prospect on the rise this spring, who is ranked 19th overall is new Iowa commitment [player_tooltip player_id='905003' first='Brayden' last='Santibanez']. This Memphis area quarterback may have the best arm talent of all in this year's class along with being one of the top dual threat guys as well. The Dragons senior still needs further development but the raw talents are in place to handle the starting job with the Hawkeyes and potentially work his way into the pro ranks.

After the top three, we have two guys in [player_tooltip player_id='1142902' first='Cooper' last='Newman'] (30th overall) from Sevier Co. and [player_tooltip player_id='693877' first='Cameron' last='Kruse'] (39th) from Page inside our “Top 40” prospects with both having the opportunity to boost their rankings with stellar senior years. Newman is a well known signal caller that already holds a state title and Mr. Football inside his resume along with the arm talent and size needed to contend on the big stage of college football.

One of the better dual threat options in this class, Kruse is a dynamic player that brings a great combo of athleticism and arm talent to the field that translates well to the next level. Recently committing to Kansas State, this Mid-Tennessee product is still growing into his body while adding in more power to his right arm but the ceiling is high with Kruse and someone that fits the Wildcats offense very well, so playing early in the Big 12 is very possible.

Coming in ranked 59th overall, Pearl Cohn quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1286233' first='L.J.' last='Funk'] is a fast rising prospect on the recruiting scene due to his powerful right arm and upside that he brings to the college game. Funk has some of the better untapped upside inside this senior class due to his athleticism, arm power and ability to create on the move. If he can get bigger and stronger headed into the Fall season, Power Four program may start to get involved.

#TN2027 Quarterback Rankings

Brentwood Academy senior [player_tooltip player_id='834810' first='Crews' last='Jenkins'] comes in next ranked 64th overall and while he may not have the ideal size everybody may want, the Eagles quarterback makes up for it with high football knowledge, accurate passing and deceptive athleticism. Jenkins may not wow with his physical abilities but he is a gamer and someone that understands how to play the position. He should bring good value to the Ole Miss quarterback room with who he committed to just recently.

The last quarterback ranked inside our “Top 100” is East Nashville senior [player_tooltip player_id='1668630' first='Dallas' last='Covington']. This is another guy I can see rising up the charts after the Fall season and someone that might play his way into Power Four status. The Eagles signal caller has good size along with some of the best mechanics in this class. Covington displays accuracy along with enough arm strength to make all the throws. If he can increase his arm power, bigger schools might come calling.

The Next Tier …..

- While this next group may be outside the “Top 100” for right now, several guys listed here have talent and the opportunity to boost their stocks over the coming months and move their rankings upward. I do foresee a few guys doing that but big seasons must occur for that to happen because the top nine above are legit and may be too talented to bypass.

The next guy in line behind the first nine is Maryville senior [player_tooltip player_id='1723184' first='Will' last='Jones']. Ranked 106th overall, the Rebels dual threat signal caller is just beyond the “Top 100” but someone I am high on that can play his way up with a strong senior year. Jones is a multi-talented quarterback that can win with his arm or his legs but definitely shows the upside in the passing game to make a difference in college. If he can get bigger and stronger, more and potentially bigger schools may take a liking to his game.

New Grace Christian Academy quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1292341' first='Corbin' last='Hobson'] is one of the more underrated signal callers from our senior class that would have bigger interest right now if he wasn't labeled as an old school pocket passer. That's what he is but Hobson is legit at what he does. The Rams senior (150th overall) has some of the best mechanics and arm talent in this class that can make all throws, including pushing the ball down field. Increasing his foot speed in the pocket would do wonders for his game and his recruiting stock.

Just behind Hobson is CPA senior [player_tooltip player_id='1652877' first='Jack' last='Van Orman'] (151st) and Cleveland quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1660896' first='Kason' last='McGowan'] (152nd). Both these guys have talented right arms that play up well on the next level and upside to improve even further with added time and continued work on the field. Van Orman has college size with smooth mechanics and deceptive athleticism. If he can improve his foot speed and increase his arm power, the Lions quarterback has a shot to shine on the collegiate gridiron.

McGowan is a confident young man that displays excellent spin on the ball and some zip that should be appealing to college coaches. The Blue Raiders senior is a good athlete too that moves well inside and out of the pocket along with having the power to push the ball down field. He does need to continue increasing his arm power but I like the overall tools here with McGowan and his potential moving forward.

Ranked 154th overall, Alcoa senior [player_tooltip player_id='2058759' first='Thomas' last='Manu'] heads into the Fall season vastly under the radar but not by our rankings. I am personally quite high on this East Tennessee quarterback as I see a winner here and someone that knows how to run a crisp, efficient offense. Manu is undersized yes but he is a gamer that shows accuracy and timing with his passes along with athletic footwork to keep plays alive. Manu may have to take the long path towards stardom but in time, someone will be getting a steal with this guy.

Just behind Manu, ranked 155th overall is Silverdale senior [player_tooltip player_id='1535798' first='Connor' last='Jenne']. The talent and college size is there with this Chattanooga area quarterback but further development with his accuracy and timing need to be increased to push his stock higher. Jenne has it in him to enhance his skill set and put forth a strong senior year that might increase his recruiting interest. He already holds several offers in-hand and I think will add more before he signs.

Adding his first offer recently from Eastern Kentucky, quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1422904' first='Kason' last='Young'] is a multi-year starter for his East Robertson squad that brings a nice combination of dual threat abilities and passing to the field that can be developed further inside the college game. The Indians senior signal caller ranks 180th overall but can certainly boost his stock further with another strong season that may possibly end fighting for Mr. Football and a potential state title.

There is a lot of potential residing with Independence quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1150069' first='Matthew' last='Horner']. Ranked 192nd overall, the Eagles 6 '6 signal caller has the physical abilities and traits desired by college coaches along with athleticism that he uses in and outside the pocket. Horner has developed well over the past two years but still needs time to sharpen his throwing motion while continuing to learn how to throw into tight windows.

Just Inside Top 300

- This section highlights quarterbacks that we ranked just inside our “Top 300” prospects but have tools and traits that translate to the college game. These quarterbacks also have the makeup to move up our rankings during the next update with continued development and strong senior seasons. Some of these signal callers are under the radar guys as well that might prove to be better than their rankings by the end of the 2026 football year.

Sitting just outside the “Top 200” is new Battle Ground Academy quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='2161201' first='Bo' last='Bryan']. Holding several offers in-hand, this Mid-Tennessee product is someone that shows the ability to read coverages and make accurate passes while having the mobility to do damage outside the pocket. The biggest thing Bryan (202nd overall) must work on to help his recruitment and boost his ranking is adding more strength to his right arm, which would help his release and zip on the ball as well.

Coming in ranked 203rd inside our senior rankings, Knox. Catholic quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='496084' first='Mack' last='Bartholomew'] is a strong armed passer that shows flashes of power and zip from his right arm but it could be even better if didn't tuck the ball in his throwing motion as much. Doing that on the next level will have defensive backs prying on his pass and picking it off. If he can develop his release better, the physical tools are there for Bartholomew to become an impact player.

Tennessee Top 300

Red Bank senior [player_tooltip player_id='1590252' first='Austin' last='Jones'] (231st) and Knox. Central signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='1104268' first='Kaden' last='Long'] (254th) are two of the better dual threat quarterbacks inside our senior quarterback class. Both are Mr. Football contenders going into the 2026 season as well that could gain more college interest with big years. Jones is a true athlete that might be the fastest quarterback in the state. He brings good size to the field as well but to become the kind of prospect he needs to be, Jones must continue learning defensive coverages while enhancing his overall passing.

Long is coming off a breakout year where he put up silly, video game-like numbers while leading his Bobcats team to double digit victories. This Knoxville area quarterback has steadily improved over his high school career, especially with his passing. Long is still a developmental prospect moving forward but his athleticism, ability to create and passing upside should be quite enticing for college coaches.

Two pocket passers in [player_tooltip player_id='446208' first='Cayden' last='Creech'] (232nd) from USJ and [player_tooltip player_id='1142033' first='Sam' last='Bradley'] (283rd) from Cascade have a chance to boost their stocks in a significant way this summer in camps and throughout their season campaigns. Creech is already picking up steam on the recruiting trail with recent offers from Georgetown and North Alabama but he can improve his stock even further with added power to his right arm and enhanced lower base mobility.

If Bradley was playing at a bigger school right now, people may have known much more about this Mid-Tennessee product. This guy is a worker with clean mechanics, a smooth release and deceptive athleticism. Putting forth a big senior year would go a long way towards boosting his recruitment and overall stock. I like the progression I've seen from Bradley and believe we could see a rankings riser here during our next update.
