A surprisingly overlooked prospect in our system, Akit'J Williams-Robertson garnered plenty of attention throughout the Rockets' rough 2025 campaign for his brilliance as [player_tooltip player_id='1120576' first='Savy' last='Vath']'s top passing target. Williams caught 41 passes for 889 yards (21.7 YPC) and 5 TDs in 2025. An impressive prospect with plenty of length and reach for his frame, including a 76" wingspan, a 4.6 40 yard time, and a 37" vertical jump, Williams boasts outstanding athleticism and it translates well on the gridiron. Showcasing sharp footwork and being able to stop and go on a dime, Williams won a large share of his 1-on-1 reps, utilizing his reach and strong hands to nab 50-50 balls, and he's a versatile option at both outside and slot receiver. Williams has already garnered D1 attention for his performance, and he should remain a dangerous playmaker for the Rockets going forward even with a change at QB this next season.

Playing alongside his brothers Drake and Riley, [player_tooltip player_id='1975000' first='Alex' last='Asmus'] enjoyed a breakout year for the Tigers as their primary passing target. Asmus finished with 639 receiving yards on 32 catches and 7 TDs. A solid route-runner who's slippery after the catch, Asmus is able to get open at all three levels of the secondary and is a good deep threat who can catch through contact and uses his frame well to high-point passes on vertical shots. A three sport athlete who also is a premier talent as baseball and basketball, Asmus is a stellar prospect who will find himself playing well at the next level at either sport.

Fillmore Central had a fruitful season in the passing game, and they are bound to sustain their success over the air in 2026 with the return of one of their top receivers in [player_tooltip player_id='1665904' first='Quinci' last='Kaase']. Kaase finished with 416 yards on 21 receptions and 7 TDs while adding an impressive 804 rushing yards (12.4 YPC) and 4 rushing TDs. Posing as a wide-back, Kaase proved to be a dynamic utility weapon on the offense for the Falcons, flashing his impressive speed, change of direction, and lateral movement that made him dangerous whenever the ball was in his hands and given a bit of separation. Kaase will continue to serve as the Falcons' swiss army knife for one more season.

Staying in Fillmore Central, [player_tooltip player_id='1654631' first='Rylan' last='Ristau'], the Falcons' 2nd-leading receiver offered more in terms of range and explosiveness as a deep-threat receiver. Ristau finished with 357 yards and 4 TDs on just 15 receptions (23.8 YPC). Ristau plays with a great level of physicality to match his larger size as an outside receiver, proving a bit of a mismatch for smaller CBs, while showing some of the strongest hands at his position, being able to high-point vertical passes and maintain control and balance through contact. I had mentioned Ristau as both a QB and LB prospect previously, but I think he's found his true calling at WR with how well he utilized his athleticism, and he should remain to be a stud on offense for the Falcons going forward.

While somewhat overshadowed by the likes of premium prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1655354' first='Madden' last='Lendt'], Braxton Brown had plenty to offer stretching the field for Springfield's dominant passing game. Brown finished with 394 yards on 19 receptions (20.7 YPC) and 4 TDs. Despite receiving limited playing time splitting reps on the varsity offense, Brown had plenty to offer, flashing his swiftness, sharp cuts, and being able to gain separation down the sideline for a deep catch in stride that allowed him to thrive almost immediately as a supporting piece for the Tigers' offense. Brown should continue to see more targets come his way as he moves up the depth chart at WR entering his senior season.

Considering Zimmerman's prominence as a run-heavy offense and the limited number of catches he had last season, [player_tooltip player_id='1120545' first='Jameson' last='Smuda']'s performance in the passing game for the Thunder was insane. Smuda finished with 342 yards on only 8 catches (42.8 YPC) and 5 TDs. Smuda had TD catches of 33, 75, 21, 60, and 87 yards during the 2025 season. A tall, physical receiver who doubles both at WR and TE, Smuda was lined up in numerous areas on the field for the offense and excelled at nearly every spot, with his length and strong hands allowing him to catch over the seam for a chunk gain as well as possessing impressive speed to break away behind the secondary for a wide open play. Even with the Thunder continuing to roll with the run, Smuda should be a dangerous weapon who can create big-play potential to stretch the passing game and balance out the offense.

With Brooklyn Center's offense leaning heavily on explosive talent, [player_tooltip player_id='1658006' first='Rodney' last='Pierce-Tyler Jr.'] gives just that as one of the Centaurs' most blistering playmakers in the passing game. Tyler finished with 334 yards and 6 TDs on just 12 catches (27.8 YPC). Tyler's presence has been more prominent in the secondary as an effective CB, but he's proven to be just as dangerous in catching passes as he is in breaking them up, utilizing his dangerous speed and smooth footwork translating to the offense and creating separation for his QB to find him to create huge plays down the field. Tyler will look to help the Centaurs' offense find more of a consistent groove to further showcase their potential in 2026 as the Centaurs' are already ranked as one of the most hyped offensive units to watch this upcoming season.

Another prominent pass-catcher from a run-heavy team, Zach Zima gave depth as a two-way threat for the Thunderbirds' offense. Zima finished with 305 receiving yards on just 10 receptions and 2 TDs while adding 292 rushing yards (13.3 YPC) and 2 rushing TDs. Desipte his size, Zima's athleticism should not be ignored, possessing dynamic speed and strength, including an impressive 365 lb max squat, a 440 lb max deadlift, and a 29" vertical jump. Zima showcases the potential to go from endzone to endzone, with his 99 yard TD against Red Lake County being the longest catch and run in the state last season. Zima has the speed to break away from defenders and burst for a big gain after the catch. His usage should increase much more for the Thunderbirds in 2026 as Zima could see a lot more targets heading his way next season.
