Considering Zimmerman’s prominence as a run-heavy offense and the limited number of catches he had last season, Jameson Smuda Jameson Smuda 6'6" | 200 lbs | TE Zimmerman | 2027 State MN ‘s performance in the passing game for the Thunder was insane. Smuda finished with 342 yards on only 8 catches (42.8 YPC) and 5 TDs. Smuda had TD catches of 33, 75, 21, 60, and 87 yards during the 2025 season. A tall, physical receiver who doubles both at WR and TE, Smuda was lined up in numerous areas on the field for the offense and excelled at nearly every spot, with his length and strong hands allowing him to catch over the seam for a chunk gain as well as possessing impressive speed to break away behind the secondary for a wide open play. Even with the Thunder continuing to roll with the run, Smuda should be a dangerous weapon who can create big-play potential to stretch the passing game and balance out the offense.
