Basketball playoffs are just getting started here in Wisconsin, and that gives us a great time to look back on the regular season and identify the athletes who were able to produce at a high level on the hardwood. Many of those high impact players also delivered that same type of impact on Friday nights last fall. So I want to shine the spotlight on those dual sport stars. College coaches love to see kids participating and succeeding in multiple sports throughout the year and this group of 2027s are doing just that on the gridiron and hardwood. The 2027 WR/DB started his 2025-2026 school year off with an outstanding football season. He was the team's leading receiving threat, finishing with 63 receptions, 979 yards, and 13 TDs on offense. He also added 24 tackles and 1 FF on defense.

He carried that high impact performance into the basketball season where he is one of the top scoring juniors in the state. Keegan currently has a stat line of 23 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 1.5 APG. That leads the team in points, and is Top 3 for rebounds and assists per game.

Not surprising to see Keegan contributing so consistently across sports. In total Keaton went for 60 carries, 932 yards, 8 TDs, 15 receptions, 179 yards, 125 tackles, 9 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, 4 FFs, 3 FRs, and 3 INTs. They are currently 2nd place with a 19-4 record. Gabe leads the way on the scoring end, averaging 17.9 PPG.

On the football field you can't argue with Gabe's unreal versatility. It seems like the explosive athlete could play almost any position on the field. He is so explosive and has such a consistent knack for making plays. Not only is he one of the better scorers among 2027 football/basektball players but also one of the best distributors of the basketball. On the season the junior is averaging 17.7 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 7.1 APG, and 2.7 SPG. Lake Mills is having a great year, sitting at 21-2 overall.

We have been preaching the same thing with Tyler. He is talented and dedicated to his craft. Not only is he at a great point in his development, but also striving to be better while still playing other sports at a high level. Tyler checks the boxes from accuracy to mechanics to athleticism to arm strength to hit every necessary window. He is continuing to have QB1 locked down.
