Safety Owen Munson Owen Munson 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Chippewa Falls | 2027 State WI was the top senior from the night. The senior looks the part with his 6’2″ 210 lbs frame. Because of the game plan we saw Owen up in the box a ton on Friday night as well as in the slot. That fit his talents really well. Owen has a strong combo of speed and physicality that is needed to be a top safety prospect. It was impressive watching the senior battle through the front seven to get to the football. Owen was a nightmare for the OL to account for because they couldn’t get a hat on the rangy senior S. The senior has made a big leap in his development compared to last season. I recommend giving the senior a long look.

Chi-Hi’s stud 2027 Owen Munson Owen Munson 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Chippewa Falls | 2027 State WI was built like a LB at the safety position, and with his dynamic mobility and functional athleticism, Munson caught the attention of PRZ throughout multiple phases of the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp. With a great frame to continue to add weight, muscle, and mass at the next level, Munson had impressively loose hips that he could flip and swivel at ease, and his ability to transition and break at 90 and 45 degree angles was eye-catchingly smooth and explosive. Little wasted movement in this rising senior safety, who measured in at 6’1, 197 lbs. and popped off a 4.7 40, 4.47 shuttle, 8’8 broad, and 35″ vertical jump. Going to be a big senior year for this Cardinal!

On the field, Owen was all over the field racking up tackles. The ’27 finished 3rd on the team in tackles. A team that was led by the state’s leader in tackles. He would finish 2025 with 85 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 INT. Chippewa Falls would end the year at 4-6 overall.

Owen is one of the top scoring 2027s in the state when it comes to kids who also played big roles on the football field. He is currently sitting at 19.7 PPG, 4 RPG, 1.8 APG, and 1.5 SPG. All strong numbers for Chippewa Falls.

Owen put himself on my radar this past season. He has a long frame, is willing and able to come downhill and make key tackles, and he put up strong combine numbers at the UWEC Combine in February. He is a name to check out and keep an eye out for this summer.

A junior that I was very excited to see on the list was Chippewa Falls DB Owen Munson Owen Munson 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Chippewa Falls | 2027 State WI . I have been impressed by his junior tape, and am even more of a fan after his day at UWEC. The junior safety checked in just over 6′ and 190 lbs. Owen was able to ran a 4.76, jumped 31.6 and 31.5″ in the vertical, 9’2″ in the broad, and ran a strong 7.25 L-Drill. Strong tape and solid athletic numbers are great boxes to check off at the start of Owen’s junior offseason. Get your eyes on this kid.
