*Use code Johnson30 for 30% off an annual Prep Redzone subscription*

The 2nd annual UW- Eau Claire Futures Exposure Camp made a massive leap forward from Year 1. Attendees were way up in numbers and in talent. We saw some impressive specimen take the field to learn from the UWEC coaching staff on how to run combine drills, and then put that training into action. Once the combine was finished and the results were sent out there were several athletes who caught your eyes with the numbers they put up across all the testing circuits. Those athletes are our Stars of the Day. Let's talk about their performances.

What a day for Braylon Mielke of Marion High School, which is a member of the 8-Man league here in Wisconsin. Braylon looks the part of a high end RB recruit. The 2027 RB is a chiseled 5'11" 230 lbs. The muscled up junior didn't just look the part. He proved that he can run, change direction, and possesses explosive athleticism that can compete with the best of them. The junior has done a great job of maintaining his flexibility while packing on the muscle over the years. The leaps in production have followed his growth and development, going from just under 1,000 yards rushing as a sophomore to over 2,200 rushing yards as a junior.

In total, Braylon posted a 4.78 40, 36.7" vertical, 7.4 L-Drill, and a 10'1" broad jump. He also has a 6'3" wingspan. He is big, strong, explosive, and stands out from the crowd on Friday nights. I believe Braylon has a very high school of where he could play at the next level.

One of the best RBs in the WI Class of 2028 came up to Eau Claire and once again proved he deserves to be up there with the top of the group. Jayce checked in just shy of 5'11" and was 195 lbs. The sophomore has built a frame that can handle the workload any given Friday. More importantly, on Sunday Jayce proved to have the athleticism that will allow him to continue playing at the next level. He posted a 4.75 & 4.76 40s, 35.1" vertical, 7.53 L-Drill, and jumped 9'6.5" in the broad. His prototypical frame comes with a very well balanced athletic profile of speed, acceleration, and change of direction. This is a name to know over these next couple of years.

It was great to see Bode in person for the first time. Obviously we weren't able to see him throw during the combine, but what the sophomore did show was that the athleticism that has made him one of the most dominant dual threat QBs in the state in recent years is legitimate. Bode checked in at 6' 190 lbs with a 6'3" wingspan. The '28 ran a 4.74 40, jumped 34.5" in the vertical, ran an impressive 7.28 L-Drill, and had a pair of 9' broad jumps. All numbers that could play at any skill position, which will open up secondary skill position opportunities along with his QB talents. Bode has the talent to play all over the field and it will be interesting to see how teams view him.

This was a great showing for [player_tooltip player_id='1631203' first='Lukas' last='Halan']. He came in and was able to stand out from the crowd with several strong numbers from across the combine circuit. The 5'11" 203 lbs junior ran 4.75 in the 40, jumped 31.9" in the vertical, and jumped 9' and 9'1" in the broad jump. Seeing strong athletic numbers that carry over from group to group truly stands some athletes out from the crowd and Lukas was able to work his way into being one of those athletes. The Marshfield product is making a name for himself early on in 2026.

The Rhinelander RB is starting 2026 off with a strong verification of what he brings to the field and what he will be leaning on as he looks to take over in the Rhinelander backfield this fall. Matthew checked in just over 5'9" 173 lbs, ran a 4.85, jumped 31.8" in the vertical, blazed a strong 7.12 L-Drill, and jumped a pair of 9'2" broad jumps. The explosive numbers match the agile runner you see on tape, and the 2028 showed that he has the speed to be able to break off those big plays after creating space with his explosive agility. Keep an eye on the northern WI 2028.

Cooper was an intriguing athlete. He has built himself a strong frame, carrying 202 lbs at just over 5'9" with nearly a 6' wingspan and 10" hands. The LB can move that stout frame too. He ran a pair of 5.10 40s, had a 35.8" vertical, 4.41 shuttle, and a 9' broad jump. Those numbers are verified by plenty of varsity tape already too for the sophomore. He had 80+ tackles, and 10+ TFLs as a sophomore. Pair his strong athletic numbers with quickly developing instincts and you have an LB to keep an eye on as he continues to grow.

Dannie had just recently hit my radar during our 2029 Rankings debut. So it was great to get an early, live look at the talented freshman. Just watching him attack a few of the drills it was clear that the freshman brings game-breaking athletic traits to the RB position. The 5'8" 145 lbs freshman ran 4.75 in the 40, jumped 31" in the vert and 8'11" in the broad, and ran 4.52 in the shuttle. Dannie is developing serious track speed that will be key to his ability to dominate in space. I can't wait to see him make more impact on Friday nights this fall and build on these numbers over the coming years.

Coming in at 5'8" 150 lbs we have sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1718648' first='Kylor' last='Loomis'] of Waterford. The two way athlete was a big winner on the day with his performance. Kylor was able to run a 4.72 & 4.73 40, jumped 33.1 & 33.3 in the vertical. The sophomore also showed off some serious ability to bend, burst, and change his "pad level" with his 7.19 L-Drill and 4.5 shuttle. Lastly, Loomis jumped 8'10" and 8'11". It was so impressive to see the 2028 not only put up good numbers, but repeat many of them. Don't sleep on this one.

A junior that I was very excited to see on the list was Chippewa Falls DB [player_tooltip player_id='2085664' first='Owen' last='Munson']. I have been impressed by his junior tape, and am even more of a fan after his day at UWEC. The junior safety checked in just over 6' and 190 lbs. Owen was able to ran a 4.76, jumped 31.6 and 31.5" in the vertical, 9'2" in the broad, and ran a strong 7.25 L-Drill. Strong tape and solid athletic numbers are great boxes to check off at the start of Owen's junior offseason. Get your eyes on this kid.

Drew has been establishing himself as one of the state's best WRs since his freshman season. I have watched the tape a ton of times over the years, but this was one of my first chances to watch him in person. It was a day that verified the talents from his tape. A WR who is explosive and agile, and someone who can win snap to snap with his effortless route running. On Sunday Drew checked in at 5'11" 175 lbs with 10" hands, ran a 4.8 40, 7.34 L-Drill, 4.41 shuttle, and jumped 31.3" in the vert and 9'5" twice in the broad. A big offseason is ahead for the explosive playmaker.

It was great to see the 6' 181 lbs junior out of West Salem compete in person. Jameson put up great numbers in every event, showing natural athleticism that will help him have a great summer and 2026 season. In Eau Claire Jameson posted 4.74 in the 40, 34.7 and 34.8" in the vertical, 7.22 in the L-Drill, 4.37 in the shuttle, and 9'6.5" in the broad jump. However you want to cut it, Skifton had a great day. Solid frame. Explosive acceleration and change of direction to go along with field-stretching speed. Don't miss out on this kid.

Another freshman who put together a great day is Edgar's do-it-all varsity contributor [player_tooltip player_id='1973477' first='Graham' last='Streit']. Graham started the day checking in at 5'11" 160 lbs with just over 9' hands and a hair over 9'1" wingspan. In the live testing Streit delivered a great showing with a 4.72 40, 34.9" vertical, an elite 7.10 L-Drill, 4.37 shuttle, and a 9'7" broad jump. These are fantastic numbers for anyone, especially a freshman athlete. The small school standout is going to be one to watch over the next several years as he looks to help Edgar continue their dominant run.

One of the most consistently, athletically impressive kids that I have seen over the past couple years is Eau Claire Memorial's [player_tooltip player_id='1336935' first='Jackson' last='Zuleger']. He was a standout last year at this event and was back for more in 2026. It was well worth it, posting very strong numbers. Numbers that include a pair of 4.8 40s, 36.1" vertical, 7.22 L-Drill, 4.28 shuttle, and 9'6" broad jump. Jackson is off to a hot start in 2026 with a pair of D2 offers to his name already. A big summer is ahead for the two way playmaker.
