One of the state’s top talents at the QB position resides in McFarland, WI. Garrett is a 6’4″ 175 lbs pocket passer who put up 24 passing TDs to just 3 INTs to go along with a 58% completion percentage. I have strong confidence in Garrett’s ability to surgically pick apart a defense. Throughout the entire tape you see the short, intermediate, and deep accuracy. The mix of touch and arm strength to attack every level with proper timing. I love to see how he will keep his eyes downfield under duress and has enough mobility to be able to buy time. Garrett is a kid that I think cracks the Top 10 of his position during our next update. I’m hoping to get to watch him through at least once this summer.

McFarland’s QB1 put together a strong junior season. He would finish going for 157/273, 1,941 yards, 24 TDs through the air plus 1 more on the ground. The junior also had a great 8:1 TD:INT ratio.
McFarland basketball is having a very good year. They have a few key pieces from the football team who are also key pieces of the hoops team. Garrett is leading the way for the 18-5 Spartans. He currently sits at 19.4 PPG. We don’t have the rest of the stats, but it is clear that Garrett is a big piece to their success.
Garrett is also the key piece to the offensive success on Friday night’s. He has the frame, accuracy, and the quickly improving arm strength to be able to start at the next level. He has a lot of experience at the varsity level too. Things are coming together for him to have a big summer and then a big senior season.

Garrett is another athlete who has to step up and handle the majority of touches/attempts for his offense. The junior responded to that responsibility by doing a great job of protecting the football. He finished 2025 with a 8:1 TD:INT ratio. On tape it is play after play showing his touch to beat defenders and give his men chances for big plays after the catch. The left handed passer doesn’t sacrifice big plays either. He will not hesitate to go deep, making that ability to protect the ball even more impressive. Garrett is going to be a big riser when the rankings update debuts next Monday.

What a night for the junior QB out of McFarland during their win! Garrett was surgical, picking apart the defense with accuracy, smart ball placement, and excellent touch. Garrett has a long, lean frame but he is still able to quickly get the ball out and doesn’t need to have his feet set to still be accurate. The lefty was super quick with his decision making too, hitting that back foot and getting the ball out instantly. The junior forced the defense to try and cover the entire field because he did a great job of attacking every level. This was a great showing for the junior QB. He is definitely developing as a passer from where he was a year ago.

Varsity Stats: 125/243, 1,570 Yards, 16 Passing TDs, 3 Rushing TDs
Garrett is going to be one of the top QBs in this Class. He has a live arm that gives him and his offense the ability to attack short, intermediate, and deep downfield. The ball comes out quickly and the velocity should only get even better as he continues to add size and get stronger over the years. More importantly, Garrett has the touch and accuracy needed to attack the defense. He puts the ball where his man can catch and run with it or go get it without putting the ball at risk. His base of mechanics from his feet to his release are developing very well too. Watch the highlights. The McFarland offense is going to be one to watch.
