Throughout the next few days on Prep Redzone Oklahoma, we'll be breaking down each prospect in the rankings, along with a handful of players outside of the Top 25 to keep an eye on moving forward. In this breakdown, we're putting that spotlight on the prospects ranked from #21 overall to #25 overall. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more 2029 prospect breakdowns, along with ranking updates for the 2028 and 2027 classes.

RELATED

- Breaking Down The Top Five 2029 Prospects

- A Look At 2029 Players Rounding Out The Top Ten

- 2029 Prospects Knocking On Top Ten Door

- Five More 2029 Prospects To Watch

Poteau wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1261479' first='Evan' last='Adams'] is the first of two players on this breakdown where their freshman seasons were cut short to injury. Adams earned meaningful playing time for the Pirates during his freshman season on both sides of the ball before the year came to a close prematurely, due to an injury. We've watched Adams in each of the last two offseasons and the talent level is there. Nine months ago, we watched Adams and his growth physically definitely stood out to us. We're looking forward to seeing Adams again in person to see how much he's grown. Like we mentioned, the skill is there with him moving forward. He's a polished route runner and has very reliable hands. As he continues to grow and keep that speed, he's going to be a problem in southeastern Oklahoma.

Out of the 25 prospects in the state's 2029 class that we ranked this week, Ardmore's [player_tooltip player_id='1939112' first='Da'Rai' last='Washington'] is one of the toughest players to evaluate. On one hand, we've seen his numbers on both sides of the ball. He was a productive running back for the Tigers but he was also one of their leading tacklers on the defensive side of the ball. But we haven't been able to get our eyes on him, whether it's film or in person. So there is still a lot of unknown when it comes to Washington as a true prospect in the class. Ardmore has a ton of talent returning for the 2026 season so they could end up being a team to watch. It's safe to say that we'll see them at some point in the fall. But based on only his production, Washington is going to be a name to know. After seeing him in person, he might vault up these ranks.

Southmoore wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1829041' first='Tucker' last='Hayes'] earned playing time for a Sabercat squad that made a run to the 6A-2 quarterfinals. Now, Southmoore is moving up to 6A-1 so the competition is going to ratchet up in a major way and it's easy to anticipate that Hayes will have an expanded role in the Southmoore offense moving forward. You throw on the tape and you see a player that did the most of his damage in the quick screen game. The Sabercats would get the ball out to him and he did a good job after the catch, following his blocks and attacking defenses. We're looking forward to seeing Hayes showcase more routes in 2026 and become a bigger part of their offense. He's going to be a match-up problem with his length and the Sabercats will need that as they bump back up to 6A-1 football.

[player_tooltip player_id='1230346' first='Kruz' last='Delgado'] is a 2029 prospect that we first saw in person during the offseason of his seventh grade year. It was pretty clear then that Delgado had the athleticism to make some noise once he got to high school. He spent his freshman season at Muskogee and earned a ton of playing time, including starting at cornerback for a few games. Delgado had an impact in special teams and also saw some limited playing time on offense. But during his freshman season, there's no doubt that Delgado's greatest impact came on the defensive side of the ball. His freshman film is impressive and the ceiling for him is pretty high. Based on his playmaking ability alone, he's going to be a name to watch moving forward. As we consistently say, earning starts and meaningful playing time at the 6A-2 level will always get our attention.

Rounding out the 2029 Top 25 is running back [player_tooltip player_id='1839096' first='Brayden' last='Hubbard'] from Deer Creek and he's the second player that had his freshman season cut short with an injury. But before he was hurt, Hubbard was producing at a very high level. And when we look at his combination of size, speed and strength, it's only a matter of time before he has a breakout moment under the Friday night lights. Hubbard has all the potential in the world to be the top running back in this class but we want to see him back on the field and healthy. Based on what we've seen from him in person, the limited film but also the numbers he's put up in track and in the weight room, we're confident that Hubbard is going to be a name to watch at the running back position. We're hopeful to see him in person this spring.
