is another 2029 name to know that is at a new spot heading into this season. Hayes joined his brother and dad as they made the move from Southmoore to Noble this offseason. They joined the Bears shortly before spring practice so it was a crash course to get ready for practice and team camp. We got a chance to watch a lot of their reps during one day at team camp and Hayes looked really good. He has the chance to be one of, if not the top target in the Noble offense this season. Hayes had a solid freshman season and now he has the potential to do much more as a sophomore. Hayes has size and consistent hands to be very productive this fall.

earned playing time for a Sabercat squad that made a run to the 6A-2 quarterfinals. Now, Southmoore is moving up to 6A-1 so the competition is going to ratchet up in a major way and it’s easy to anticipate that Hayes will have an expanded role in the Southmoore offense moving forward. You throw on the tape and you see a player that did the most of his damage in the quick screen game. The Sabercats would get the ball out to him and he did a good job after the catch, following his blocks and attacking defenses. We’re looking forward to seeing Hayes showcase more routes in 2026 and become a bigger part of their offense. He’s going to be a match-up problem with his length and the Sabercats will need that as they bump back up to 6A-1 football.
