8 Georgia Prospects Who Raised Their Stock at PRZ Events

With some major events here in the southeast in the rearview, here are a few Georgia prospects who built some buzz for themselves following big days at PRZ events.    Showcase season is about answering questions, and McPherson did exactly that. When you turn on the tape, you get a clear look at a dual-threat QB prospect, but watching him up close confirms it. He has filled out better than I expect, looking the part of a physical runner. A PR of sub 11 in the 100M also paints the picture for the caliber of athlete he is. He is an explosive passer with quick, efficient mechanics. He creates easy velocity on the ball, and on tape, he showcases the ability to touch deep pockets of the field with finesse. It's been a big offseason for McPherson, who will receive a big rankings boost for us.     Young has steadily improved upon every watch, and his recent showing at our showcase was the best he has been, taking home a coach pick for MVP. Young is just a steady, smooth operator. Everything is clean, and he spins the ball well. He is always an easy evaluation and fun to watch mechanically. He is headed into his senior season, where he hopefully can get a healthy year under his belt and continue to build positive momentum.     As I said previously, camp season is about answering questions, and I had plenty answered on Woods. From a traits perspective, pretty much everything I already suspected was confirmed on Woods. In fact, I think he actually looked and threw better than I thought. He too looks like he has filled out a lot, and his delivery looks tighter, and the ball jumps out of his hand better. Woods thrives when things break down, which can't be showcased during the camp setting, so coaches need to pay close attention to his junior tape if they're interested.     Blackwell is ranked as one of our highest rated 2028 DB prospects in Georgia as of today. After taking home a coach MVP at our recent showcase, he is continuing to prove himself. For his height, he actually looks pretty long and lean, so I don't think he's done growing yet. He is light on his feet, mirrors routes well, and is difficult to separate from. He checks the boxes athletically, so I will be watching his physical growth closely as he heads towards a breakout junior season.     Biggs was a familiar name coming into our showcase season, and he validated some of the hype with his performance. It can be hard to showcase your physicality in a showcase setting, but Biggs did exactly that, not being afraid to get his hands on receivers in their routes. As he grows, that physical brand of football will grow too. He gained valuable experience during his breakout sophomore season, putting him on good footing as an upperclassman.     Little was identified by our scouts at our Gainesville 7v7 as a noteworthy player to watch. His size is still coming around, and he is waiting to break onto the varsity scene, but the flashes are exciting. He is light on his feet, instinctual, and isn't afraid to come downhill. He has generated some buzz from his youth years, and as he grows, that buzz should transfer over to recruiting buzz as he gets older.     I actually stumbled across Fincher last week, which makes it ironic that he showed out during our 7v7. There's not a lot of overthinking here. For the 2029 class, he is in a year of his own. He is huge, but athletic and moves well. He just isn't built like your typical freshman TE, I am looking forward to tracking him over the next few years and see how everything ties together.     Sutton, a youngster at our showcase, played well and flashed his upside. He is already ranked highly initially by us in the 2029 class, so he will be someone we continue to track. He is a twitchy player who mirrors receivers well and has good ball skills. His continued growth is what sets the intrigue here. He has a chance to break out as a sophomore and build more buzz for himself.
