Frank Young Frank Young 6'2" | 187 lbs | QB Allatoona | 2027 State GA is one impressive signal caller and Young was one of our standout players in the Prep Redzone Winter Showcase recently and he is an impressive thrower of the football. Young is going to have a terrific senior year campaign. He is a leader, strong thrower of the ball and a guy who is confident in what he can do. I really love what I have seen from him, and I expect him to have a big year in the 2026 Georgia High School football season!

Young has steadily improved upon every watch, and his recent showing at our showcase was the best he has been, taking home a coach pick for MVP. Young is just a steady, smooth operator. Everything is clean, and he spins the ball well. He is always an easy evaluation and fun to watch mechanically. He is headed into his senior season, where he hopefully can get a healthy year under his belt and continue to build positive momentum.

It was a good day for Young, who stood out amongst a talented QB group. I’ve said it before, but Young is just a smooth, fundamentally sound passer. He is clean, and that showed throughout camp. He spun the ball well, hit receivers in stride, and kept mistakes to a minimum. He continues to improve with every in-person exposure, setting him up for what could be a breakout senior season.

Very good release of the ball and competes. He plays with a strong IQ, and you can see that in his throws alone. He simply knows where he’s going with the ball. He’s got a big, big off-season ahead and a 2026 year!

Arguably the best player on Allatoona’s roster, as he is someone who has done a solid job when it comes to being a QB under pressure. He has been very successful in multiple areas of the game, which has him as the top prospect in the state for the class of 2027 set to attend. The majority of the high-ranked guys are in the younger classes, so it will be interesting to see what the Allatoona signal caller can do in a lengthy list of top guys slinging the rock.

He is a guy who can really sling the ball and deliver it within a timely manner to his targets setting them up into great position to be successful. This is Frank Young Frank Young 6'2" | 187 lbs | QB Allatoona | 2027 State GA ‘s second appearance at a PRZ Showcase and he has been towards the top of the QB group in both. From a mechanics standpoint, Young was probably the smoothest point A to point B thrower out of the group. He was sharp in the short area, throwing the ball with good spin. When his deep ball was on, he threw with the touch to turn the nose of the ball over and drop it in over defenders. Young has a natural feel for the position and he took a big step forward physically in the last year.
