A new playmaking tight end to know in the 2029 class, Fincher has the potential to be a major weapon in the North Oconee passing attack next year due to his big 6-foot-6 200-pound frame, soft hands, and ability to break tackles after the catch. He’s one of the top young pass-catchers in the Athens-area and earned a major offer from the Georgia Bulldogs after a big camp performance this week. He’s quickly becoming a top tight end prospect in the state for the 2029 class and should see more and more offers come his way over time.
Picking up his first offer, Eli Finicher has proven to be one of the top rising tight ends. He was at many of our events this off-season and stood out not just because of his obvious mismatch size but his ability to high point the football, eat up space within his routes and a use of strong hands. He picked up a big one and so did the Bulldogs out of the 2029 class in the Peach State.

was a complete mismatch in the day one of the Prep Redzone 7v7 National Championship. Fincher has been pretty much a mismatch in every event he has been in with us this off-season and he brings a lot of attention with his size and ability. He has sure hands, he knows how to get open, and he is a big body that is very hard to contain. I expect him to have a massive day in day two on Sunday at Lakepoint!
I actually stumbled across Fincher last week, which makes it ironic that he showed out during our 7v7. There’s not a lot of overthinking here. For the 2029 class, he is in a year of his own. He is huge, but athletic and moves well. He just isn’t built like your typical freshman TE, I am looking forward to tracking him over the next few years and see how everything ties together.
Once again, Fincher was a mismatch all weekend and is a very difficult cover. Can you believe he’s just in the 2029 class? Right! The tight end is a guy who just knows and finds ways to get open using his size and strength often, he can also use athleticism to make that happen at any given moment. Big-time target here.

stood out in big ways during the 7v7 tourney. The big fella really showed why he is a mismatch at the tight end position. He has strong hands, can get open and he plays physical at the line of scrimmage making it hard for defensive backs to rebound and keep up with him before the ball reaches his hands. Big-time talent here out of the 2029 class. Expect a lot from him!
