Our QB1 in the 2028 class [player_tooltip player_id='1596559' first='Ryder' last='Sutton'] is signed up for our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and I would expect him to surely be one competing for QB MVP on Sunday. He grew in his sophomore season developing a quicker release and growing his precision with his throws on all three levels. His elsuiveness too will be something I will be watching for in Aberdeen on Sunday making throws out of the pocket, as that is another area that saw a lot of growth in his sophomore season.

Our QB3 in the South Dakota 2027 class [player_tooltip player_id='1212271' first='Austin' last='Flohr'] of Rapid City Stevens is another quarterback I will have my eyes on Sunday in Aberdeen. Austin is another one that took steps forward in his junor season with the Raiders especially with his throws on intermediate and deep routes showing off solid balance with his touch throws and surely took a step up with his ball placement. He got quicker too with reading the defense and finding his wide receivers in stride as he is another one that could be a potential QB MVP coming from this group.

I have always said it, if you can be identified at the mega-sized NDSU camp over the summer as a freshmen, you are doing something right which is the case with Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase attendee [player_tooltip player_id='1745594' first='Riggin' last='Sand'] of EEK. Talk about an athlete that possesses a ton of speed and doesn't take long to process it from start to finish as Riggin is a problem in the open field. He is a total swiss-army knife on both sides of the ball and hopefully we can see on Sunday in Aberdeen what he can do in muliple position spots at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase.

Beckett has already taken home one RB MVP at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and I will be intrigued if he can get a second one on Sunday. He already holds a couple of the earliest NSIC offers in this 2027 class and I have had a D1 grade on him for a while now as one of the only ones as the moment in this 2027 running back class in North Dakota. He ran for nearly 1600 rushing yards as a junior and is not one you will want to deal with in open space as he's very twithcy with his change of direction and has a whole lot of speed from start to finish on every run. He was another one that I identified as top prospect at the NDSU camp as a freshmen a couple summers ago already.

Colten was a new name that showed off what he could do at our last Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and I am excited to see how his skillsets have developed since last time. If I recall, he peaked on offense at our last DAK Showcase, but the tape I see on defense also intrigues me so he could be another one that shows off his position flexibility at our showcase on Sunday in Aberdeen as I stoked to get a even stronger live eval on the Dawson-Boyd athlete.

Sitting a top our 2028 South Dakota rankings for offensive linemen is [player_tooltip player_id='1601579' first='Nolan' last='Fischer'] out of Madison. Moving from Centerville to Madison and competing in 11A, showed to be no tall-task for Nolan in in his sophomore season as Nolan showed an overwhelming presence at the point of attack and I could tell that he grew more fluid with his footwork from his freshmen season. The 6'4 240 pounder also was more persistent at getting to the second level in his sophomore season so I will be intrigued to watch how much his pad-level has grown in our live eval.

Another athlete out of Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm that has is one of a couple that has won an MVP at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases is [player_tooltip player_id='1319850' first='Seth' last='Irey'], who won one in Aberdeen going on a year ago as this showcase will be one to watch in the trenches as Seth and last spring's OL MVP [player_tooltip player_id='1544429' first='Mason' last='Bickel'] are both in attendance in a OL battle I will be watching. Seth is coming off an first team All-State campaign in his junior season, winning with great leverage and pad-level at the center position and being a huge driver into the second level with both of those skillsets. I can tell he's gotten quicker at firing out his hands from a year ago, so I will be watching Seth closely in Aberdeen on Sunday to see if he can redeem the title.

Jude is another swiss-army knife signed up for our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase on Sunday as one that is one I will certainly have my eyes on. He is a springy route-runner that can stretch the field on deep routes and can get to the second level with his sudden burst quickly when in the Chargers backfield like he showed during thier state championship run in the 2025 season. Rangy as a safety and one that plays great 1v1 pass coverage when he is needed. He is one I would expect steps into muliple positions at our showcase on Sunday.
