The talent that headlines this Class. Behind that group is another wave that looks to be well on their way to earning their first offer from the D1 level. These are athletes with elite traits, they just had something that was holding them back from being in that initial wave whether it be position questions, raw development, or simply needing more film to verify the talent they do have. Now that their junior seasons are in the books these athletes are ready to take off on the recruiting trail. Coaches, these are special athletes with the traits needed to impact rosters at the D1 level. Make sure to dive into their tape. It will be linked with each athlete.    One of the most intriguing athletes in the state is Union Grove's [player_tooltip player_id='1733709' first='Anthony' last='Zimmerman']. The 2027 TE/DE is now up to 6'6" 285 lbs. The big man is right at home in the trenches too. He has been a constant contributor over the past two seasons with his run blocking prowess. The junior gives UG an extra OL the way he can fire off the ball, clamp his hands on, and run DL off the ball and out of gaps. Anthony's sheer size, power, and dominance as a blocker make me believe his best ball, and highest opportunity at the next level, could come playing as an OL. Secondarily would be his play at DE where that same size, power, and wingspan are able to overwhelm OTs and easily shed them aside to make tackles. This is an exciting prospect who is just scratching the surface on what he could be. He is a big ball of clay ready for a college coach to morph into a constant contributor.      One of the top two-way impact players is in line to be next up for his first offer. Harker looks the part of a future D1 LB with his 6'4" 220 lbs frame and he is playing the part more and more. This past season we saw the junior at OLB and ILB. Off the edge he used that length and quick first step to rush the edge effectively. On the inside Larsen has easy range, going sideline to sideline. He also flashed strong instincts and the ability to quickly breakdown plays. The power that the LB/RB plays with is undeniable too. He can power through OL on defense and as a ball carrier there are so many examples of his powerful lower body moving the pile. Harker is on the raw size, but he is developing and the traits that he has you can't teach. Don't miss out. Check out the tape below.      Guardian has done a great job of putting himself up there as one of the top edge defenders in the Class. He is building out that long, lean frame of his. I was able to watch Harris play live this season and the kid stands out from the crowd. His frame is loaded up with explosive burst and athleticism. The FdL defense utilized him as a pass rusher and would have him drop in space and Guardian delivered on a weekly basis. That first step of his and length made it a nightmare for OL to get hand position on him. The way that the 2027 could play and move in space only further separates him from the crowd. This is a dynamic LB/Edge.     I was lucky enough to get to watch Peyton live in the playoffs this season and also a couple weeks ago at the PRZ WI Showcase. That paired with the highlight reel gives me great confidence that he is leading the way for that next wave of WI OL to receive offers. Peyton has the frame, easily carrying 275 lbs with long arms. The junior trusts his feet, playing patient and then delivering powerful initial strikes. The big man makes it look too easy, walking DEs off the line of scrimmage and opening up huge holes for his RB on the right side of the Waterford OL. Tap into his highlights. The 2027 OT is putting in the work.      Jamail is on the verge of taking that next step and absolutely blowing up. The 2027 OT has an elite frame at 6'7" 300 lbs, and he definitely carries that 300 lbs with ease. For being so massive, the first thing that jumps off the tape is how smooth and rangy of an athlete Sewell is. It is definitely rare for a kid his age and size to move like he does in the trenches and out in space. The big man doesn't have to sacrifice power for that athleticism either. He flattens DL with heavy hands. The exciting part is that the 2027 is so raw. The ceiling for his talent and potential are some of the highest in this class in my eyes. Tap into these highlights.      Right up there with producing OL, WI has been pumping out TE recruits at a very high rate. One of those top end athletes in 2027 is Waunakee's [player_tooltip player_id='1729995' first='Mac' last='Johnson']. The junior not only dominated at TE this season, but also DE and OL. The big man is an outstanding run blocker with his power and quick twitch athleticism allowing him to gain the positioning advantage. That run blocking allowed him to fill in on the OL throughout the season. The big man is also a viable receiving threat. Showing he can get downfield quickly and attack the ball in the air with soft hands. He is a load to bring down after the catch too. Definitely get this kid on your radars.      One of the breakout players of 2025 was junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='1226914' first='Jamison' last='Larsen']. Jamison has built a massive frame for the QB position and it allows him to play to his strengths. The 2027 QB is a dual threat athlete. On the ground he has the speed to break off the huge carry, but the big man also doesn't shy away from creating yards after contact with that 220+ lbs frame. The big man also possesses a big arm. Jamison stands out with his arm talent too. Over and over he demonstrated some really good touch and accuracy, especially when pushing the ball downfield. Overall, Jamison has smooth mechanics and an arm that can get the ball to any spot on the field with the required velocity. Jamison is going to be rising up the ranks.
