It is crazy to see how much we can match the general idea of what was selected with what we have here in WI. Giants took a freakishly large LB with excellent athletic tools. Harker has that impressive frame too, with so much room to continue to fill out in a college weight room. Larsen has the sideline to sideline range and the inside/outside versatility to line up where he gives his DC an advantage.

Harker is a fun watch on tape. You will see him on the edge as well as at ILB. Not to mention the 6’4″ 220 lbs athlete will also play RB on offense for Evansville. The raw tools to develop and carve out at the next level are there in spades. Harker has the length and is really starting to play effectively with it while on the edge. While playing off-ball LB you see the range as well as the play recognition so that he can quickly read and react. When Harker gets the chance to focus on one spot we could really see him take off at the next level. Harker’s best football is still ahea of him.
Harker currently holds offers from Army and Air Force with plenty of other interest from D1 programs. As Harker starts getting verified numbers at summer camps I am expecting to see things really take off for him.

At the top of our charts is Evansville’s Harker Larsen Harker Larsen 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB/RB Evansville | 2027 State WI . The junior is long, strong, and has plenty of room to continue to add the necessary bulk to play at the highest level effectively. Harker brings inside/outside versatility and has production on tape to support that. Harker brings natural athleticism that allows him to slice through the trenches to close quickly on the ball. The 2027 LB flashes power to bull rush OL and his length gives him space to disengage and get around OL. The natural, raw tools are great building blocks to develop a D1 LB around.

One of the top two-way impact players is in line to be next up for his first offer. Harker looks the part of a future D1 LB with his 6’4″ 220 lbs frame and he is playing the part more and more. This past season we saw the junior at OLB and ILB. Off the edge he used that length and quick first step to rush the edge effectively. On the inside Larsen has easy range, going sideline to sideline. He also flashed strong instincts and the ability to quickly breakdown plays. The power that the LB/RB plays with is undeniable too. He can power through OL on defense and as a ball carrier there are so many examples of his powerful lower body moving the pile. Harker is on the raw size, but he is developing and the traits that he has you can’t teach. Don’t miss out. Check out the tape below.

The top talent in today’s article is Evansville LB Harker Larsen Harker Larsen 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB/RB Evansville | 2027 State WI . The rising junior checks so many boxes. A great frame with length, potential D1 quality athleticism, and strength that stands out from the field. Harker is raw when it comes to the finer techniques of the OLB position, but the way he can win with speed or strength off the edge is exciting. Larsen also got a chance to show off his versatility, lining up on the edge and also inside where he could show off more of that football IQ reading the play and flowing downhill to meet the ball carrier for no gain. There is a ton to be excited about with Harker.

This might just be my favorite addition from this update. Harker’s highlights are wildly impressive. To start things off, Harker has an elite frame for the LB position at 6’4″ 220 lbs. That elite size is loaded up with elite athleticism. Watching through the highlights, highlights that included RB play, it was clear that the big man was also arguably the fastest kid on the field. Larsen is able to get to top speed in a hurry and pull away in the open field or cover ground on defense. Even as an underclassman, Harker was showing a nose for the ball and an ability to knife through traffic to get to the ball and make a tackle. Harker was just scratching the surface back in 2024. This is going to be a special year for himself and this Evansville team.
