One of the breakout players of 2025 was junior QB Jamison Larsen Jamison Larsen 6'3" | 225 lbs | QB Waukesha West | 2027 State WI . Jamison has built a massive frame for the QB position and it allows him to play to his strengths. The 2027 QB is a dual threat athlete. On the ground he has the speed to break off the huge carry, but the big man also doesn’t shy away from creating yards after contact with that 220+ lbs frame. The big man also possesses a big arm. Jamison stands out with his arm talent too. Over and over he demonstrated some really good touch and accuracy, especially when pushing the ball downfield. Overall, Jamison has smooth mechanics and an arm that can get the ball to any spot on the field with the required velocity. Jamison is going to be rising up the ranks.

What a game for the rapidly rising junior QB as he and his offense poured on the points in Week 6. Jamison dominated with his arm and his legs Friday night. Starting with the big arm, it was great to see both of his TDs come from throws that relied more on touch than just ripping the ball into a spot. He showed touch and accuracy. We also saw him deliver accurately on the run, as well as get a pass off from an awkward angle and off platform. It was also a great night of showing off his dual threat abilities. The big man can power his way to short yardage success, or he also showed that he can get out in space and elude defenders with quick feet and agility. The tools are coming together really well for the impressive 2027 QB.

Sophomore QB Jamison Larsen Jamison Larsen 6'3" | 225 lbs | QB Waukesha West | 2027 State WI is looking good this fall. He has a big, strong frame at 6’3″ 200 lbs and he is putting together a good year of production so far. He has 863 yards through 5 games with 10 TDs and only 4 INTs. The sophomore is protecting the ball while also averaging almost 10 yards per attempts. Being a good decision maker with the ball while also pushing it downfield pretty consistently is not easy for an underclassman. Jamison is doing that, though. Skill-wise, the big frame comes with a big arm that can deliver passes downfield on a rope. The sophomore QB also is talented at delivering the ball from awkward arm angles or without his feet set. So he has the arm talent to not need to be perfectly set. Larsen also possesses the accuracy needed to carve up defenses at every level of the field too. The tools are all there to continue to mold into a top tier QB prospect. Keep a close eye on this kid.

Being a varsity starter as a sophomore QB is no easy task, but the 6’3″ 200 lbs sophomore looks up to the challenge. The well put together ’27 has the live arm needed to make all the throws on Friday nights. He can drive the ball on a rope 30+ yards downfield and fit into those tight windows underneath with his arm strength. While the numbers don’t jump out as accurate (50% comp. pct.), Jamison has multiple highlights this past week of him placing the ball into some tiny windows while also putting velocity on those throws. Larsen also did some damage with his legs, and while he doesn’t have game breaking speed the sophomore is opportunistic and will pick up the free chunks that are given. West has a QB in place for several years to come that can get the ball to every level of the field with accuracy and zip. That’s a huge plus at the HS level. Big things ahead for Larsen and his team.

West is looking for a new man at the helm leading their offense on Friday nights. 2024 QB Cael Eide graduated following a 1,200+ passing yard, 10 TD season, and nearly 400 rushing yards. The only other QB to see varsity action in 2023 was Zac Hotter, a 2027 prospect. That looks like the main competition for fellow 2027 Jamison Larsen Jamison Larsen 6'3" | 225 lbs | QB Waukesha West | 2027 State WI .
Larsen does have a great frame for the position that is sure to continue to grow and fill out over the next three years. On the freshman team, Jamison was a poised passer who stood in the pocket against pressure while delivering strikes downfield. He has an arm that can stretch the field and deliver accurate passes off his back foot. Larsen is an aggressive passer that pushed the ball downfield in 2023 with no hesitation. I’m looking forward to seeing who wins the job at Waukesha West this fall.

Rankings Movement: #26 -> #16
Jamison has really impressed me since going back and rewatching his highlights from his freshman season at QB. Right off the bat, the ’27 has the frame of a prototypical passer already. He tips the scale at 200 lbs and easily carries it on his 6’3″ frame. The first takeaway early in his highlights is that Jamison has a live arm. An arm that can attack every level of the field. He can carve up the short- intermediate levels with next level velocity, putting the ball on a rope when needed. When attacking deep, Larsen is still able to hold onto that velocity as he pushes the ball downfield. The ’27 has effective athleticism as well. He can buy time and is able to maintain accuracy throwing on the run. Larsen is showing strong attributes. I’m looking forward to seeing what he looks like as a sophomore.
