This is a very fitting selection here. Reese is an athlete who can play off the edge or drop into space while bringing a rare frame to the field. Guardian Harris Guardian Harris 6'4" | 215 lbs | EDGE/LB Fond du Lac | 2027 State WI is used the same way and also while playing with an elite frame. Harris is so fluid in space with his speed and change of direction. His ability to flip a switch and violently rush the edge gives a glimpse into the versatility he offers on the edge.

Guardian is a monster on the edge. The ’27 is extremely versatile because of the rare combination of range, change of direction, and acceleration that he plays with at 6’4″ 215 lbs. You don’t often see kids Guardian’s size be able to play in coverage on a consistent basis, and that helps to further separate him from the crowd. Then he can go from playing in space to playing with his hand in the dirt and beating OTs with power in the trenches. Not to mention he is a very effective traditional TE who can affect the game with his blocking and receiving. Don’t miss out on this kid.
Guardian currently holds offers from South Dakota State, Illinois State, North Dakota State, and North Dakota. Plus he has earned multiple other FBS invites for visits and camps. A big summer is in store for the Fond du Lac standout.

Guardian is just scratching the surface on what he can become down the road. The junior possesses such a long frame, yet that doesn’t hinder his movements and range at all. So much so that we see him repeatedly in coverage, easily sliding around the field. I was able to watch one of his games and witnessed him jump a route for an INT. That versatility to play in space and cover athletes or rush the passer is such a weapon that DCs can use to put OL units in tough scenarios. This weapon is one of the best off the edge that Wisconsin has to offer.

Guardian has done a great job of putting himself up there as one of the top edge defenders in the Class. He is building out that long, lean frame of his. I was able to watch Harris play live this season and the kid stands out from the crowd. His frame is loaded up with explosive burst and athleticism. The FdL defense utilized him as a pass rusher and would have him drop in space and Guardian delivered on a weekly basis. That first step of his and length made it a nightmare for OL to get hand position on him. The way that the 2027 could play and move in space only further separates him from the crowd. This is a dynamic LB/Edge.

Stats: 2 Tackles, 1 INT
Guardian is developing into a special recruit and talent. He has a great frame that is still filling out. A frame with length and active hands that allowed him to create separation that he can use to defeat blocks. He has the power to do the dirty work setting the edge against the outside run game. The 2027 edge separates himself with his impressive athleticism. While he is dominant attacking downhill, Guardian is not lost dropping into coverage. He can slide and change direction surprisingly easily. That was demonstrated on his 4th quarter INT. Guardian is very versatile and developing into a legitimate three down LB.

Another freakish new addition to the 2027 rankings is LB Guardian Harris Guardian Harris 6'4" | 215 lbs | EDGE/LB Fond du Lac | 2027 State WI of Fond du Lac. Guardian is back with an additional 10 lbs to his frame compared to last year. The LB has a great frame at 6’4″ with long arms that will allow him to stay clean and quickly disengage with blockers. That length is also huge for him as a pass rusher off the edge. His motor, length, get-off, and power are making him a very impactful edge defender. But the 2027 is far more of a versatile athlete than that. You will see him out in the flats over WRs and flying in to make violent tackles in space. Guardian rounds out his exciting skill set with a reliable base of athletic traits that can make him successful in space as much as between the tackles or flying off the edge. I can’t wait to see what he looks like this fall. He is going to be a must watch athlete.
