In this article we take a look at five more premier playoff matchups with strong teams that have had a good amount of success this season and will be looking to continue that momentum with their seasons on the line against high-quality opponents.</p>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2A - East Nashville @ Milan</h2>   <p>In the 2A classification, East Nashville travels to west Tennessee to take on an undefeated Milan squad that is led by standout senior tailback and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1562203' first='Jaydon' last='Peete'], the team leader in rushing yards and tackles.</p>   <p>This Milan team has a suffocating defense that allows just a touchdown per game on average, but East Nashville has an explosive offense when it is functionally operating, led by dual-threat quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1668630' first='Dallas' last='Covington'].</p>   <p>East Nashville should have the advantage in the trenches in every single game they play in their classification with players such as [player_tooltip player_id='1571426' first='Gonni' last='Martin'], [player_tooltip player_id='1565681' first='Devin' last='Phillips'], [player_tooltip player_id='1704958' first='Jevon' last='Carter'], [player_tooltip player_id='1536133' first='Kendall' last='Brooks'], and more. They will look to run the ball on this defense and set up downfield shots from Covington.</p>   <p>While East Nashville might be 6-5, ALL five losses were competitive games against some of the best teams in the entire state. They travel to Marshall County for a premier matchup of two state championship contenders in the classification.</p>   <p>Marshall County has three losses of their own in similar fashion as both programs scheduled hard opponents to prepare themselves for a game such as this.</p>   <p>The home team features an exciting offense led by standout quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1422897' first='Tyler' last='Thompson'], breakout sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='1885826' first='Tot' last='Gardner'], and receiver [player_tooltip player_id='492600' first='Kel' last='Hightower'].</p>   <p>Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1286233' first='L.J.' last='Funk'] and tailback [player_tooltip player_id='1587357' first='Omarion' last='Starnes'] have shined for Pearl-Cohn, but it will be the defense that will have to step up in this game.</p>   <p>Their defense has a plethora of talent and playmaking ability at all three levels: defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1030665' first='Cheyenne' last='Harris'], linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1432204' first='Karmelo' last='League'], and cornerback Kendall Hoskins. Wideout [player_tooltip player_id='637139' first='Tray' last='Moore'] is one of the most underrated players in the state.
