Coming off a freshman season that saw Porter produce 78 receptions for 1,547 yards and 27 touchdowns, it will be hard for the Wildcats wideout to replicate that but he is certainly good enough to do so. It will be different this year with a new quarterback throwing him the ball but Porter is a game changer that most opposing teams won’t have answers for nor someone that can slow him down. The Wildcats receiver has the athleticism, size and speed combo that can take over ball games and force teams to double him. I’m fully expecting another big year from this sophomore playmaker and as long as he produces another big year, I foresee him being right there at the top competing for Mr. Football with a great shot at bringing home the trophy.

, a wide receiver at Battle Ground Academy. Porter is without a doubt one of the best receivers in the state of Tennessee. In addition to an excellent frame and outstanding breakaway speed, Porter impresses me with his explosiveness in coverage and ability to haul in the clutch touchdown pass. The rising sophomore is due for another great year with the Wildcats.
I don’t know if you can make a bigger impression as a freshman than what Porter did last year during the Wildcats title run. This 6’2 pass catcher immediately made his presence known early in the season and continued to get better as the year went on. Porter ended his freshman campaign by producing 78 receptions for 1,547 yards and a staggering 27 touchdowns. Those are some silly numbers, especially for a freshman. It’s going to be hard to replicate this kind of year from Porter but the dude is talented with a strong competitive nature, so I wouldn’t put it past him to do it.
