About Kayden
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Powerful and cerebral interior offensive lineman who plays with toughness, leverage, and great awareness. I’m a physical run blocker, dependable in pass protection, and take pride in controlling the line of scrimmage with communication, effort, and a finish-first mentality.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I bring a disciplined, physical, and leadership-driven mentality every day. I’m coachable, detail-oriented, and take pride in doing the hard things consistently. My personality is built around accountability, toughness, and making the players around me better.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes, I’m actively involved in Global INC, where I serve the community through outreach and service projects. I also mentor younger athletes through my church and in the community, and I volunteer at youth football camps at BGA. Giving back, leading by example, and helping younger players grow are all important parts of who I am off the field.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed leadership, communication, and accountability through playing center, mentoring younger athletes, and serving through Global INC. Learning from my position coach, Donell Stanley, a former South Carolina and NFL center, has also elevated my technique, football IQ, and understanding of leadership.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of my biggest challenges has been learning to lead and communicate at a high level as a center, where every play starts with me making the right call. That responsibility has pushed me to grow in confidence, football IQ, and composure under pressure, and it has made me a stronger leader for my team.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college with strong academics, a competitive football culture, and coaches who prioritize player development. Finding a program where I can grow as a center, compete at a high level, and build strong relationships with coaches and teammates is most important to me.
