We're at the midway point of the season in the blink of an eye, and we'll be highlighting prospects who have produced midseason highlight tapes. Colleges will evaluate prospect film from the midpoint of the season to assess their progress this season, as they update their recruiting boards. Here are some OL prospects to check out with midseason highlight tapes that we didn't cover from the First 3/4 games spotlight series!

2026 Spring Valley OL [player_tooltip player_id='1138231' first='Maddox' last='Barron'] has really grown into his 6'5 frame over the past year, and it's translated to success during his senior season. He's taken a clear step forward from his junior year and has put together some quality performances at the midway point of the season. Barron has the size that colleges are looking for and should receive offers sooner rather than later. If Barron keeps making strides athletically at the next level, he'll become a future college starter and standout.

One of the most under-the-radar offensive linemen in the state to know from the first half of the season is Hampshire's Carlos Chavez-Trejo. Colleges need to get eyes on his midseason film ASAP, as Chavez-Trejo is scholarship-worthy. He's a big, powerful athlete capable of playing at the D2 level after some time spent developing his agility and footwork. Moving inside to guard at the next level would benefit Chavez-Trejo's game at a more comfortable position for his skill set.

Wheeling Park running back [player_tooltip player_id='1137687' first='Brennan' last='Wack'] receives a lot of deserved attention as the top rusher in the state, but he couldn't put up his gaudy numbers without his big men up front, like 2026 OL [player_tooltip player_id='1138216' first='Liam' last='Waldeck']. He's an underrated OL prospect in this class who deserves some college attention for his play. Waldeck has the athleticism to play at the next level if he can continue to add the needed size. He's worth a look for D2 programs as a low-risk, high-reward prospect who could develop into a future starter if he makes physical progress in college.

2026 Greenbrier East OL [player_tooltip player_id='1803514' first='Jackson' last='Morgan'] returned to his home state for his senior year and has helped the Spartans to a great first half of the season. They needed some bigger bodies up front, and Morgan has delivered that this season on both sides of the ball. He's a big, strong, and physical player, which translates to success as an offensive and defensive lineman. Morgan is a D2-caliber prospect in our eyes and should pick up some offers in the coming months.

A 2026 offensive lineman on our Watch List to know at the midway point of the season is Philip Barbour's [player_tooltip player_id='1234062' first='Dayton' last='Morrison']. He could project as a long snapper as well at the next, but has made physical strides since last season that could have colleges liking him as an offensive line prospect. Morrison is a quality athlete who can block in space and get to the second level consistently. He also has a strong punch and finishes blocks well.

A new name on our radar this season to add to your recruiting boards is 2026 Winfield OL [player_tooltip player_id='1924846' first='Jaxson' last='Swiney']. At his 6'3 210 size, Swiney could project on the defensive side of the ball in college but does a nice job on the Generals' offensive line. He's explosive out of his stance and is strong at the point of attack. Swiney can consistently get push even while giving up some mass against bigger interior defensive linemen. If he can add the needed size to play offensive line in college, Swiney may end up being a hidden gem of a prospect.

Another name on our 2026 Watch List to know from this season is Ripley offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1924855' first='Ian' last='King']. He does a nice job in the Vikings' running game behind his 6'3 290 frame and can plow open running lanes. King is a strong athlete capable of getting consistent push if he maintains his leverage and technique. He coud earn some D2 offers if he can get his film out to those programs and would be a steal at the D3 level.
