We're at the midway point of the season in the blink of an eye, and we'll be highlighting prospects who have produced midseason highlight tapes. Colleges will evaluate prospect film from the midpoint of the season to assess their progress this season, as they update their recruiting boards. Here are some WR/TE prospects to check out with midseason highlight tapes that we didn't cover from the First 3/4 games spotlight series!

A new receiver name to our radar this season is 2026 Buffalo WR [player_tooltip player_id='1923013' first='Nathan' last='Harris']. He has the potential to be a hidden gem for colleges as a late-blooming senior who has produced some eye-catching film at the midway point of the season. Harris has a 6'3 frame that can be significantly developed at the next level and has shown clear ball skills in his midseason tape. He tracks the ball well and can bring down 50/50 balls consistently. If Harris can become more explosive in his route running, he has the potential to play at the D2 level.

2027 University prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1154937' first='Kaleil' last='Lewis'] has showcased his athletic versatility through the first five games of the season. He's done some good things in a variety of positions and roles for the Hawks in all three phases of the game. His size and athleticism could take him in several different directions as a college prospect. Defense may be his ultimate future, where he's played both safety and EDGE/OLB this season. Lewis is still a high upside and potential player as he continues to develop his role.

2027 Martinsburg ATH/WR [player_tooltip player_id='1154974' first='Boston' last='Todd'] has continued his high-level playmaking ability into the first half of his junior season for the Bulldogs. He's developed into an explosive route runner who can create consistent separation in traditional routes. You can still get creative with how you get the ball in his hands on offense, on sweeps, tosses, and reverses. Todd has also emerged as a dynamic punt returner, which is one of the best ways to judge an athlete's playmaking level. He should see D1 offers sooner rather than later.

2027 Cabell Midland TE/EDGE [player_tooltip player_id='1185571' first='Keian' last='Shelton'] has taken the next step in his development as we expected this season and has emerged as a top player for the Knights in his first extended varsity run. His size and athleticism are traits that can't be taught, and Shelton has put in the work to further develop both of them. That's translated to success in his junior season on both sides of the ball, which should bring in some D1 offers in the coming months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154939' first='Kai' last='Martin'] has taken the next step in his development this season for the Patriots and is showing the potential we saw in him as a freshman two years ago. He has made significant physical progress, which has helped elevate his game this season. Martin was dominant against a good, well-coached Barnesville (OH) squad last week and has become a serious downfield target in their passing game. If Martin continues this progression, he'll fulfill the D1 potential we saw in him as a young player.

2027 University WR [player_tooltip player_id='1326514' first='Hayden' last='George'] is emerging as a household name in West Virginia as he's elevated his game even further in his junior season. George is one of the leading receivers in the state at the midway point and will be on the short list for the Randy Moss Award if he continues this level of play in the second half of the year. He'll be a likely stock riser again in our rankings after the season, as he's consistently developed both physically and developmentally through his career to date and is a confident D1 prospect in our eyes.

One of the leading receivers in Class A again this season is 2027 Tug Valley WR [player_tooltip player_id='1145831' first='Cameron' last='Slone']. He's hauled in 26 passes for 444 yards and 4 touchdowns in just 4 games so far this season and is on pace for his best season yet as a junior. Slone is a rare talent at the small school level for a receiver and has innate ball skills and juice after the catch as well. He's someone who D2 programs should be targeting heavily heading into his senior year.

A new TE prospect to add to your 2027 recruiting board is Lewis County's [player_tooltip player_id='1909812' first='Kellan' last='Wolverton']. He has a good 6'2 205 frame that can continue to be developed into a future college TE/H-Back body. Wolverton has upside as a linebacker prospect as well if he keeps making strides athletically. The Minutemen are a run-heavy program, so he has plenty of experience as a blocker in his first year in the program, and we'll learn more from Wolverton, the pass catcher, in the future.

2027 Riverside WR/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1332160' first='Tyson' last='Arms'] has made the most of his limited touches in the Warriors' passing game at the midseason point of the season. If they can find more ways to manufacture touches for him in an offense that's trying to develop a passing game. Arms has playing potential with his athletic skill set and will showcase that with increased touches moving forward.
