[player_tooltip player_id='1894178' first='Rawlin' last='Hanks'] is a baller, he gets to the football quickly, one of the more technically sound backers I have watched. Glenvar using him in multiple roles and I can see why, he already has 2 interceptions this year. He is rangy, fluid and fast to the ball, [player_tooltip player_id='1894178' first='Rawlin' last='Hanks'] passes the eye test and then some. Poised to have well over 100 tackles, Hanks has 7 TFLS in three games.

Through three games Westfield sure looks like one of the best teams in Class 6 thanks in large part to their outstanding defense. Senior linebacker Jason Lartey is on a terror this fall with over 30 tackles and 4 pass break ups. I think what I enjoy most about Lartey's tape is the high level of football IQ he displays on each play. He looks like a safety at the next level, but I could see schools being interested him for his work at outside linebacker too.

It has been a bit of tough sledding for the Fairfax Lions and they have started out their 2025 campaign at 1-2. The Lions are still a playoff team in my opinion and they have gotten outstanding play from junior defensive lineman Anthony Mrad. With the absence Davon Tolson, Mrad has stepped out on both sides of the ball. The 6'3 290 lb. stud can dominate the line of scrimmage when he has his pad level down, the potential on this kid is off the charts.

Already starting for a good Osbourn squad, [player_tooltip player_id='1719560' first='Elijah' last='Nickens'] will be a name to remember for years to come. The 14th ranked 2029 prospect Nickens is making plays for the Eagles at defensive back. Had the privilege of watching him back this summer and he looked ready to make an impact as a freshman. Needless to say he has done that and then some, Nickens could see a rankings bump in our post-season class rankings.

Loudoun Sports Academy had a nice win over Mount Zion last week and [player_tooltip player_id='1303905' first='Aamir' last='Williams'] was outstanding in their victory. The highly regarded defensive back seems to have transition nicely in his new settings. Look at some of the plays he made in their win, Williams has a nose for the football that should start to transition to interest from coaches at the next level.
