I wrote about Fairfax rising star Anthony Mrad before but wanted to include him as the big man’s stock is rising by the minute. He returns to what could be a sneaky good Lions squad after earning all district honors last fall. Mrad is a 6’3 and ranked 269th overall, on tape and in person he deserves a rankings bump. Still coming into his own, I think you will see him playing on the defensive side at the next level. Healthy and ready to lead Fairfax on a deep playoff run in 2026, he is an offer able prospect already.

It has been a bit of tough sledding for the Fairfax Lions and they have started out their 2025 campaign at 1-2. The Lions are still a playoff team in my opinion and they have gotten outstanding play from junior defensive lineman Anthony Mrad. With the absence Davon Tolson, Mrad has stepped out on both sides of the ball. The 6’3 290 lb. stud can dominate the line of scrimmage when he has his pad level down, the potential on this kid is off the charts.

Younger brother of Nick, lineman Anthony Mrad is going to have an impact entering his junior season. He is another candidate for our updated 2027 rankings set to post on Labor Day, Mrad is a beast at 6’3 and 290 lbs.. Lining him up next to Tolson or Koffi and again their Fairfax lines are going to be imposing. I would expect him to play both ways also as he is really coming along with the strength and agility.
