WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1650250' first='Christian' last='Fulgham'] (Bishop Timon) - For the second straight season, Timon has had to call upon their backup QB early in the year. But Fulgham has not disappointed by rising to the occasion. He has been the Tigers go to man and is leading the team in every receiving category (16 catches for 322 yards and 5 TDs in 3 games)

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1344791' first='Michael' last='Taylor'] & WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1344450' first='Darryl' last='Smith'] (Niagara Falls) - Niagara Falls is off to a solid start in Class AA (3-1, 1-1). The QB play of Taylor has been the biggest reason for their improvement. Smith, who is Taylor's main target, has been explosive this season catching 14 passes for 344 yards and 6 TDs. Defensively, Darryl has shown to be a shutdown Corner as well with 4 pass defenses and an INT.

WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1727434' first='Troy' last='Mobley'] (West Seneca West) - The Warhawks came into the 2025 with a freshman QB and no true #1 WR so there was some skepticism on how this season would go. Well, half way through the regular season and WSW has put together a 4-0 record and all against divisional opponents; many of them were blowouts. Biggest headline has been they did it through the air with first year starting QB [player_tooltip player_id='1514651' first='Mason' last='Anderson']. Mobley has been the main beneficiary to the air attack posting a 18-282-3 stat line. Troy hasn't made much noise this season at DB but he can be an exceptional CB as he proved last year by racking up 4 INTs in a part time role.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='747256' first='Jimmy' last='Valentine'] (Bennett) - This is definitely a breakout year for Valentine but it hardly comes as a surprise. Each year, he has improved and with the graduation of many seniors from 2024, the stage was set for Jimmy to lead the Tigers back to the promise land. Valentine is averaging over 100 yards per game and has scored 6 TDs as Bennett is 3-0 vs Section VI opponents.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='1625735' first='Mekhi' last='Scott'] (Lackawanna) - There were a lot of questions about Lackawanna heading into the 2025 season. Several key linemen had graduated and their top RB that gained almost 4,000 yards in 2 years had transferred. But if there is one thing the Steelers have never lacked is talent. Scott transferred to Lackawanna this season and has been that X factor they have needed. He is a small shifty runner that has posted 312 yards in 3 games and 4 TDs. Defnsively, he has been a solid DB racking up 2 sacks and had a fantastic 86 yard pick 6 in the second week of the season.

ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1708529' first='Tyler' last='Kent'] (Kenmore East) - Not much is known about Kenmore East players as they have been a fledging program for many years. But there are always diamonds in the rough. Kent is a big bodied TE/LB combo with solid technique. He has soft hands and good closing speed on defense.

ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1344772' first='Quinten' last='Wilhelm'] (Sweet Home) - After Sweet Home won the Section VI Class A title in 2024, they lost several key components; many to graduation and a couple have transferred. Wilhelm stayed and has been a remarkable three way player. He is by far their best WR (18 receptions 177 yards and a TD), he is a massive SS/LB hybrid that can hit better than anyone in WNY and he is also the team's primary placekicker.
