Expert Analysis
Cory Lemer | Prep Redzone Scout
The second of the Sweet Home duo, Wilhelm stands at 6’0″ 200 pounds and plays both WR and LB. His size gives him a decent frame for both positions.
Wilhelm is a deep threat, making a majority of his plays down the field. He has solid speed with good footwork, allowing him to across the field and behind opposing DB’s. He has solid hands and fluid hips allowing his body to move with ease.
Wilhelm is part of the deadly 1-2 WR core at Sweet Home this fall, making the Panthers a deadly threat moving forward.

One of my favorite players on this Sweet Home team, Wilhelm does everything. He is a strong, hard hitting LB/S hybrid but is also a tremendous WR when called upon. He’s a solid route runner with great awareness. Quinten is also their catalyst on Special Teams as their Placekicker and Kickoff Specialist.

I saw more Sweet Home games this season than any other team. On a squad loaded with talent, Wilhelm was a player that undeservedly went unnoticed. Quinten seemingly never left the field. On defense, he was a hard hitting LB/S hybrid while on offense other players were making big play after big play, Quinten grinded away making the tough catches. He was also their starting kicker and made several key contributions on Special Teams.

as one of the Panther’s breakout players and he has exceeded those expectations. Going in, Wilhelm showed to be a fierce defender and a ferocious hitter as a hybrid LB/SS. He was that and so much more as a junior. He also displayed excellent route running and soft hands as a receiver, catching a 44 yard TD against the Macks. If that wasn’t enough, Quinten nailed 2 field goals from 40 and 37 yards out.

will be a name to know and he proved that in this game. He played Strong Safety last year but has converted to Linebacker as a junior. He is also a viable option in the passing game and an asset to their special teams unit. Wilhelm did everything in this game. He caught an extraordinary toe-taping touchdown early in the first quarter, had a sack/fumble that the Panthers recovered late in the game and his 29 yard field goal with 1:53 left in the 4th put the game out of reach for the Bulldogs. On top of all that, he had several tackles and kicked two extra points (one of which was from 34 yards out after a 15-yard Sweet Home penalty).

Wilhelm out of Sweet Home is a true strong safety who is physical at the point of attack and makes a lot of plays coming downhill. Already at 200 lbs, Wilhelm could grow into the LB position because he plays the safety position so well when coming downhill. He does a good job of breaking down and making tackles in space but also flashes some closing speed moving sideline to sideline.
