He rushed for an eye-popping 2,677 yards, along with 34 touchdowns. That was in his sophomore season. Going into his junior season, he is looking to build on that and improve even more. Eber has all the traits of an elite running back. Burst, quickness, and a physical style. His ability to read the defense and deliver a good football is impressive. He has excellent mechanics and footwork in the pocket. He has what I call quiet feet, as they are always settled in the pocket while he throws the ball. He also has a good arm and throws with good anticipation. Williamson feels most comfortable in the pocket, but he can also take off and run when the chance presents itself. His ability to play as a wide receiver, returner, and safety is special. At all 3 positions, he showed excellent athleticism and speed. As a wide receiver, he showed an excellent ability to gain yards after the catch as defenders struggled to tackle him in the open field. Then, as a returner, he shows that same ability to make defenders miss in space. He also showed good coverage skills and ball skills as a safety, as he made several plays from this position. He also had several interceptions. The Yale commit can do everything fairly well as a quarterback. He has excellent footwork and mechanics in the pocket. He can also run either in designed run plays or when the play breaks down. What I like about his film is that he throws with anticipation to the open receiver. His ability to find a receiver and then throw an accurate ball is impressive. I love his ability on both sides of the ball. As an edge, he explodes off the ball, and he is hard to block. He can make plays in the offensive backfield by being so disruptive. Then, as a tight end, he is a good blocker who helps in the run game. He also runs good routes and catches the ball well. Hatton should be in line for a huge Junior season. He also has good instincts as he reads whether it is a run or pass play at a high level.
